recovery: part 1

Megatrons pov:

I rushed managed to rescue lilly with ease but my spark; my spark ached badly, seeing her like that. Her fragile body. Bloody; beaten. Bruised and scarred. Her once flawless skin now had multiple scars. Her hair now a lot shorter than before. I growled deeply and turned to starscreams dead body. And ripped out whatever little bit of a spark he had left.

I dont regret killing him or blueshard. I dont regret what I did. My only regret is leaving lilly. I carefully freed her and activated my hologram form and carried her out. Her eyes looking in my direction; those beautiful ocean blue eyes had tears collected in them. I could feel her body easily becoming still. I touched her face gently. As she smiled and said three simple words before passing out on me.

"I love you" that's all it took; those three words. To send me into a full breakdown. Leakage ran down my face. As I rushed out and to my original form. Placing lilly carefully inside I buckled her up and deactivated my hologram form. Flying off to the autobot base where she could get proper treatment.

"Megatron what? What happened to lilly!" Optimus asked seeing her in the state she was in. "Rachet!" He called out as the medic bot came rushing in. Seemly angry that he was called from his work. But relaxed once he saw lilly and had a frown on his face. His optics narrowing; looking her over he he gently grabbed her from my hands where she laid. Unconscious.

"She suffered multiple abrasion to the head; a broken leg. A broken wrist and three broken ribs. She'll make it but she needs to be in a regular hospital. I cant really do anything for her. Megatron; goldstar. (Goldstar is Kyle) I'm sorry. I wish there was more I could do for her. But if we hurry she can make it." Rachet said while looking at the screen of her x-ray. He turned it off while grabbing the printed picture and handing it to ralph.

"I know where a really decent hospital is. They can give her the treament and care she needs." Ralph spoke looking at the x-ray. And up at us. I didn't care at the moment; and neither did goldstar. He only cared about his daughter recovering and I did too. I only cared about that. About her. Just her; only her. Quickly activating my human form. (Its better than saying hologram form all the time) I carried her to the jet and flew off towards the hospital. With goldstar following behind me on the road. We both made it to the hospital and quickly walked in; in our human forms. I had lilly in my arms.

"Please you must help her! Shes injured badly! Please!" Kyle yelled as the nurses rushed quickly to get a gurney and place her carefully on it. "Please wait out here!" They rushed her to a room called er.

"My babygirl! My little angel! I can't loose her! I lost my wife. Dont let me loose my daughter. Please god! If you exist please hear my prayer! I beg you!" Kyle screamed at the sky. Which gave off a happy feeling; but there wasn't feeling of happiness. Not for us. I watched families come in and leave. Some with their loved ones. And some left with tears or in anger of "what do you mean! Or couldn't you do more!"

One instant was that there was a woman who left in anger then collapsed sobbing her eyes out. Apparently her only son that was about lillys age died of cancer. And I saw kyle. His eyes held passion and compassion. He walked up to the lady and began talking to her. While I waited patiently for lilly.

Kyle had walked up to the sobbing woman. Who was on the ground. In tears. "Maam is everything ok?"

"No! It's not! It's not ok! How can you ask such a thing! And expect me to say  yea I'm ok! My son just died of cancer! And you had the guts to ask me of i was ok!"

Kyle only smiled sadly. Kneeling down beside her he sat against the wall. "You know" he began looking at the door to er "my wife died almost year ago now" this caused the woman to look at him tears still in her eyes. "She died of brain cancer durning a car accident last few moments she used the little strength she had to protect my baby girl from the oncoming crash once i found them after police and medics were called i was told that doctors could do nothing to save my wife; a month later after her death my daughter had a seizure. I almost her. Now shes blind and may never see again. Now shes back here. After being injured in the er. And I fear my baby might not make it; I learned that you must cherish every moment with them. And even after their deaths remember they didnt want you to suffer. I bet your son doesnt want you to cry. He want you to be strong and smile. And right now it's ok to feel the way you do. It's alright to feel; hate, anger. Sadness. Regret. Remorse. Those are feelings that we cant hide. And it's ok to ask for help and a hug once in a while. A lot of people are going through things just like you. So dont think for an instant you are alone in this" he smiled gently before a nurse came out.

"Mr leonard? Matt smith?"

"That's us" kyle stated. Standing up holding out his hand to the woman. Who took it. "Come with me please" the nurse spoke. As kyle nodded to the woman to join them.

The three walked in and eyes went wide. There was lilly hooked up to all sorts of machines. As she looked horrible. Megatron looked at the ground and growled darkly.

"This is my daughter; lilly." The woman hands went over her mouth in shock. "You must be in so much pain seeing her like that" she spoke through broken tears and a cracked voice.

"It hurts yes; but I'm putting my hope in those who can heal her, I'm sure the doctors who done their best for your son. Did theirs too. Sometimes it's just time for those to go"

"I lost my husband in a car accident; five years ago. I only had my son."

"Your husband needed him the most. But they are watching over you" kyle smiled as tears collected in the corners of eyes. "Names kyle"

"Julia; and it hurts. It hurts so much. The pain in my heart won't go away. I lost so much already." Julia spoke clutching her chest.

"Your son and husband would want you to live on; be happy and make it through the day" megatron spoke up sitting next to lilly holding her hand in his. "Like kyle said; you have to learn to cope. It's hard now. But eventually it will get better. You have to see that"

"Daddy? Megatron?" Lilly voice broke out as her eyes slowly opened. "Thank you both very much. I must be on my way." Julia smiled and then turned back. "I hope she gets better. I dont want you to lose what I lost" with that she left. With a small smile on her lips.

Lillys pov:

I woke up feeling groggy and in a lot of pain. Everything hurt so much. I could hear beeping noises. But I still saw blackness. I heard my father and megatron and another woman. I couldn't quite understand what they were saying. My head hurt to much from the sounds. I felt megatrons human form holding my hands. I gripped his hand as tight as I could. "Daddy; megatron?" I called out in a whisper because my mouth and throat was so dry it felt cracked. Everything. Felt so heavy.

"Lillypad!" My day rushed to my side from the sounds of his feet scurrying across the floor. I felt his hand against my cheek and a lips pressed against my forehead. "Papa" I spoke once more.

"Lilly. You're ok?! I will get a nurse!; nurse!" I heard megatron yell gaining the attention of a few who scurried in here. I was too tired to pay attention but I heard a few words of "she needs water and a little bit of food and to be monitored and it's a miracle shes awake so soon." They brought in trays of food as I carefully ate and drank the water. Before slumping back down against the bed. My eyes closing. My body was exhausted and I ached all over. I let sleep take me over. As megatron tightened his hold on my hand.

End of pov:

"Shell be ok. She needs the rest. After the traumatic event she went through her body will take a while to fully recover; shes going to be fine. But we want to keep her here for a while. For physical therapy and to keep an eye on anything else that might come up. It's just that her body is taking this time to heal little by little and when she regains some strength in her system from resting and eating and drinking plenty of water. She should be ok. I'm hoping she'll be out within a month or so." The nurse smiled gently at them.

"What is her body doing while she sleeps?" Megatron asked his eyes curious and worried. The nurse tapped her chin and smiled "well since she went through a traumatic event like I said before; her body right now is taking the time to recover and regain any strength she might've lost. It's just a way of recouping. Shes alright now. So you dont have to worry to much."

Megatron nodded as kyle thanked her for helping. "You two should go home. Come back in the morning. You both need rest. Their will be nurses here taking care of lily through out the night" both of them left. In worry but relaxation. They both knew they wouldnt fully relax until lilly was fully better. Until she fully recovered. They both knew it would take a while.

"I wont ever leave her side. Lillys gonna need us now more than ever, you mostly though. You're her father"

Kyle nodded at that not looking at him once but looking outside watching the rain fall. "Shes going to need you as well. Lilly truly does love you. I can tell you that much"

"I love her too. More than anything" and it was true. Megatron did love lilly. He felt everything when he saw her in the state she was in. He was angry and upset that he couldn't have gotten there sooner. That it was sparkrenching for him. But he loved her nonetheless. And he will continue loving her. Until the day he dies.
