"One hit won't hurt you." Monty exclaimed trying to hand me the joint that him and Jasper were smoking.
"I'm not worried about it hurting me." I giggled, pushing it away. "I just don't need drugs to have fun."
"Yeah, Monty." Jasper casted me a smile that made my heart swoon. "Angel is already giddy enough, she doesn't even have to get high."
I rolled my eyes as Monty laughed.
"Plus that means more for us." Jasper plucked the joint out of Montys hand much to his dismay.
"What am I going to do with you two?" I playfully rolled my eyes.
Monty and Jasper stopped their bickering and looked at me, before looking to each other with evil grins plastered to their faces. Jasper slowly put the joint out onto the tray they rolled it one and I felt my heart drop with realization.
"No!" I yelled before they both jumped onto the bed I was sitting on and attacked me with tickles.
"Stop... stop it." I tried to get out between breaths.
My face was red from laughing too hard. I hated how they knew how ticklish I was and they definitely used that against me.
"I surrender." I threw my hands up. "I'm sorry, I surrender."
"You give up way to easily, Angel." Monty joked with me as the three of us laid there. "It's not fun."

I smiled at the memory as I fiddled with the hem of my shirt. I was trying to read a book in my cell peacefully but what they had were limited, especially for the inmates. So I just liked reread what we had.
"I swear to god, this place is so frustrating I almost can't wait for my 18th birthday." My cell mate, Roma, groaned from her side of the room.
"Hey, don't think like that." I said softly. "We might be stuck in here but there's nothing stopping us from enjoying the time we have left."
"How do you stay so positive all the time? It's annoying."
I laughed at her response.
"Each day I spend in here is another day that I get to live."
"I would hardly call this living." She rolled her eyes.
"It just depends on how you look at it, we might have limited time left, but what we do with that time is our choice." I got up and walked over to sit next to her. "Those feelings of anger and regret are what's keeping you from being happy. Find joy in the things you do still have, and don't let anyone dictate how you feel but you."
She gave me a sad smile.
"I don't know if my parents will ever forgive me. I don't know if I can even forgive myself."
"Roma, I'm sure your parents will. As for yourself, people make mistakes, you're only human." I squeezed her shoulder. "Don't be too hard on yourself."
Our moment was ruined when the cell door was opened and 2 guards walked in.
"By the wall, now." The first guard demanded as he grabbed my arm and roughly pushed me up against the wall.
