Among the Stars that Shine

SHE

When SHE had given birth to him, she didn't know
When SHE missed him, she hadn't known
When SHE raised him , she didn't know
That one day SHE will be left all alone
She was a loving mother
Then what happened
She was a proud mother
Then what happened
She was a caring mother
Then what happened
Times change and they did
But her motherly heart could not accept it
Her son forgot her completely
She craved for it longingly
Then in her last days
She realised that they had parted ways
But it was too late to accept
For death was at her doorstep
Still SHE fought,
But God had forgotten
And she had to leave this world deserted by all
