What is Love?

Love is an illusion they say,
Once you have fallen in love, you can't get out of the way;
Love is blinding they say,
Once you begin to trust, it can lead you to heresy;
Love is a cheat they say,
Once you begin to fall, it makes you sway it's way;
Love is stupid they say,
Once it happens you career faces the doomsday;
Love is much more than this I reply,
"Have you ever fallen in love?", they cry;
Yes I have,
Then how can you say so, came the chant;
Love has been a feeling of belonging,
Love has given my life another meaning;
Love has made me strong,
It has taught me never to go wrong;
Love has made me beam with pride,
Love has brought a new confidence in my stride;
Love has been a feeling of ecstasy,
Love has taught me to blend the reality and fantasy;
Love has made me who I am,
Without love I wouldn't have come;
My parents, my friends, and relatives;
Their love has made me feel blessed,
I have never been betrayed,
My career has not faced doomsday,
I have never been tricked,
Nor have I been blinded!
Love has given me a composed way of understanding,
It has made me a better human being.
