Bill's Point of View
I am walking down the street. I think I see Beverly. I look more closely and I find out that it really is her. I run towards her and I embraced her in a hug. She suddenly pushes me off.
" Don't touch me!" She said. I can't believe she said that.
" W-What happened to-to you?" I stutter. I feel ashamed that I can't get better with my problem.
" That's not one of your business, Stuttering Bill. I have another boyfriend. Now I am the most popular girl in my new school. What have you accomplish until now? Nothing because you are a loser."
She said and left. I can't believe that I waited to be with her and she's acting like this. Tears were racing down my cheeks. I feel a hand on my shoulder and I woke up all sweaty and crying. I saw that Richie has a concerned face.
" Bill, what happened? " Richie said.
" I h-had a nightmare." I say. I am relieved that it was just a dream but now I am afraid of her surprise. I don't want to lose her.
" It was about Beverly, wasn't it? Richie said.
" Yeah." I say.
" Come here, buddy. " Richie said and hugged me.
" Let's go to sleep." he added.
We went back to sleep. Richie fell asleep immediately and I stayed a little bit more up thinking about my dream. What if Bev hates me now? What if she found another boy? My eyes fell heavy and I started to sleep.
