Rebel jumped at Xahn, but the Knight avoided the attack.
"Rebel! No! Down!" Maria yelled. Rebel backed away from the Hive, his head down, almost in shame.
"Where have you two been?" Maria asked.
"We we're looking for help", Vahra said, "but the Cabal were after us, so we ran until we found this ship. We had lost them by then".
"Where did you get that...thing?", Xahn asked, pointing at Rebel. Rebel growled in response.
"His name is Rebel", Maria replied, "and if he hadn't found me, I probably would have fallen off the edge of the Tower and died".
"What about Marie?" Vahra asked.
"You have her Ghost", Xahn said, "so where is she?"
"Gone", Maria replied.
"Then why hasn't Ghost brought her back?", Xahn asked.
"I don't know if you noticed", Ghost said, "but there is a giant cage around the Traveler, and it's stopping Ghosts from reviving their Guardians".
"Oh, ok", Xahn said quietly.
"Wait", Vahra said, "since when have you been able to understand us?"
"I've been trying to learn the Hive language", Ghost said, "so that I can understand you, and maybe teach other Ghosts, so they can teach their Guardians".
The ship was quiet, then Maria spoke up. "Ok", she said, "now that we're all caught up and questions have been answered, what do we do now?"
"Now", Ghost began, "we find out where we can find help, and we go there". As Ghost finished saying this, a message could be heard over the ship's intercom. It was saying something about a place called "the Farm", and safety.
"I guess we're starting there", Maria said. Ghost "nodded", then piloted the ship back to Earth and towards the coordinates given in the broadcast.
