"Are you excitedddd?!" Yunho enthusiastically yelled jumping in front of me. He was more excited than I was for...whatever it was.
"For what exactly?" I chuckled sheepishly having no idea what he was talking about.
He gave me a blank look, "y-your last year of college....you just ended college...HELLO!"
"Very excited. Then I have 4 more years of school and I'm officially a doctor." I smiled to myself. I've come so far from that little girl of a broken home and I was proud. I was happy. I'm away from my father who doesn't even care about us, I'm living at an apartment with my sister and brother we're doing great financially and we're just...Happy.
"What you thinking about hon?" Heya my older sister walked in setting down a bowl of ramen in front of me before setting a bowl down for Yunho and herself.
"I'm just happy. I'm glad we don't have to deal with dad anymore...is it bad that I miss him even though he doesn't care about us?" I asked, they smiled softly at me.
"Not at all...you just have a good heart you always try to see the good in people. If mama were alive she'd tell us how he's still our father and she'd be right." She sighed. "Even though he didn't do anything to help raise us he's still our father."
"Some father he is." Yunho scoffed. Heya nudged him. "Don't even get me started on that woman he married."
"Alright alright let's eat. You have to go to work soon and you have to on that blind date I set you up for." She nagged Yunho and I who just chuckled.
Heya Really was like a mother to us, I felt bad for her though, because of our fathers lack of parenting Heya was forced to grow up quickly to take care of us. She's been taking care of us since I was 2 and Yunho was 3 , she was only 7 when her childhood was snatched from her and even now that Yunho and I are adults she still mothers us. Even when dad remarried when I was 5, Yunho was 6 making Heya 10, Heya still took care of us because all dad cared about was his wife.
"I don't know why you're forcing her to meet someone. She's happy Single." Yunho Said, I hummed.
"I just want to help." She shrugged.
"I know you mean well and if it means that much to you, I'll go but if I don't enjoy it I'm not doing this anymore." I Said putting my empty bowl in the sink before walking off to get ready for the blind date.
I put on a simple outfit to show that I was trying, I slipped on some heels and brushed my hair before walking out.
