"Hello everyone, welcome to (Y/N)-san's kitchen!"

I spoke, my voice barely above a whisper. The camera stood tall upon the stand it sat upon, but it could only capture my torso area, my face and neck hidden as my hands waved around to greet the viewers.

"It's about 12 am right now, which is when every working adult should usually head to bed. Why am I awake?"

I question myself in a childish manner, raising my hand up to rest on my other hand that supported it as I placed my fingers on my chin. The action was cut due to the camera's angle, but it was obvious that I was doing so.

"Well, it's my beloved boyfriend birthday today... Of course I wouldn't miss it for the world! That's why, I'm going to make a special treat for my beloved boyfriend!"

I explained at the camera, clasping my hands together once I concluded everything. The camera captured the entire marble countertop of my kitchen, only filled with different kinds of ingredients to be used in baking.

"So, today— err, rather, this early morning, I'll be spending all the time in the special surprise I'll do! Which will be, none other than... desserts!"

I spoke excitedly, spreading my arms out for the special effect. I realized my voice had gotten louder than I expected it to be, and out of fear, I quickly slapped my hands over my mouth, afraid of making another sound.

"Specifically, I'll be making Mont Blanc and cheesecake. Just so you know, Soraru-san likes those sweets... as he mentioned. And therefore, I'll be making that!"

I clasped my hands together once more, a wide grin creeping on my face. The apartment we (and when I say we, I mean me and my boyfriend) shared was still in its silence, with the only light source being the ceiling lamp that hung just above me, making the kitchen a dimly lit area. The curtains were pushed aside, revealing the flashy yet peaceful city lights of Yamagata.

"Alright, so you guys can follow me here in this video, are you guys can follow the description below. I provided everything you'll need there, so, without anything else, let's get started!"

I spoke. Out of nowhere, I grabbed a light (F/C) apron, tying it tightly around my torso, and then hauled in all the ingredients required for the first recipe of the day, which just so happened to be...

"Cheesecake! Let's start with this! This'll take... hmm, maybe roughly an hour and more than a half? Either way, let's just hope that our time'll be adequate. Let's begin!"

Ingredients:
Crust
• 1 3/4 cups Graham Cracker Crumbs (about 15 full crackers)
• 1/3 cup butter, melted
• 1/4 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 teaspoon kosher salt

Cheesecake
• 4 (8 ounce) packages Cream Cheese, room temperature
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1/2 cup sour cream, room temperature
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• 3 eggs, room temperature

Instructions:
Making the Crust:
• Preheat oven to 350°F
• In a large bowl mix the graham cracker crumbs, butter, granulated sugar, and salt together evenly.
• Press the mixture into the bottom and up the sides of 9-inch springform pan.
• Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, or until lightly golden. Set aside while you make the cheesecake.
