First Day (Part 1)

Beep... Beep... Beep... Click

"Not today Satan," you perked up as you got up (for once) before your brother and dad. You had more time to get up and get ready today, but you weren't gonna risk it. You had gotten your letter from U.A. saying you had gotten into U.A.'s top hero class 1-A a week ago, along with your uniform. You didn't feel comfortable wearing the really short skirt however, so you "borrowed" your brother's long uniform pants. Your brother didn't make it into the hero course because his quirk doesn't work on robots, and he's pretty weak (a/n sorry best boi Shinsō), so he ended up in the general studies class. Your dad had said he wanted you and your brother to earn your ways into U.A. before you applied, even though you both could've gotten in easily through recommendation. As you were lost in thought waiting for your brother, your dad came into the kitchen.

"Hitoshi wouldn't be walking with you today," he said in his bored tone. You were slightly confused, so you activated your quirk to see what happened to your brother. Right as you found him however, your dad erased your quirk. "It's not good for a hero to invade someone's head, their last respite." You knew he was right, so you left without saying a word.

Once you were outside, you pulled out your phone to text Denki.

His unmistakable yellow hair poked out from behind his door and you began walking towards U.A.

"So what class did you get into?" he inquired trying to break the silence.

"1-A, you?"

"Same! Maybe we were destined to be!" You could see his already perverted thoughts, and shut him down for the, no joke, 50th time.

"Denki, you know I love you, just not in that way. You're like a brother to me, not anything else," you said colder than you would've liked.

"Oh, okay then," he frowned and even without your quirk you could tell he was dying inside.

You were about to say something to cheer him up when he suddenly beamed up at you and said, "It was worth a shot! Anyways, WE'RE HERE!!"

You turned around and sure enough, the large complex that was U.A. loomed above you. You gaped at it while Denki pulled you to your classroom.

(Time Skip to the Classroom)

"HEYA Y'ALL!" Denki screamed out into the classroom. You felt everyone in the classroom's thoughts change to just see you and Denki.

You just rolled your eyes and sat down at a desk. Contrary to popular belief, you didn't like attention, so you sat at the back of the class. You were tired and decided to rest, so you put your feet on the desk and closed your eyes.

Just as you were drifting off, you heard someone yelling at you. You didn't look up because frankly, you didn't care. Then, all of a sudden, you heard a familiar voice that you thought you wouldn't hear again.

"YOU'RE KIDDING, RIGHT?! YOUR OLD SCHOOL PUT A STICK UP YOUR ASS, OR WERE YOU BORN WITH IT?!"

You looked up in surprise. "Hedgehog?"

He turned around to face you, "HEY ASSHOLE! I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU YET! WHY DIDN'T YOU FIGHT ME THAT DAY HUH?! LET'S GO BITCH, RIGHT NOW, IN FRONT OF ALL THESE FUCKING EXTRAS!"

You weren't in the mood for this, so you quickly flipped him off and closed your eyes.

You saw a nearby person's thoughts about you, so you opened your eyes and looked around. A hetero-chromatic boy was looking at you with misty eyes. It was kind of unnerving, but you didn't really care. You'd seen weirder shit.

Suddenly, a couple girls ran up to your desk and introduced themselves.

"Hi! I'm Ashido Mina, but you can call me Mina! Nice to meet you! How come you're not wearing the girls' uniform skirt?! Is that allowed?!..." A girl with pink hair and skin was bombarding you with questions, so you couldn't answer her. You looked at the other... girl? It was a floating uniform, so you couldn't quite tell.

"Oh, sorry. My name is Hagakure Toru!" The uniform started talking, "Don't mind Mina, she's just excited to find another female in this class. Anyway, WHY AREN'T YOU WEARING THE GIRL'S UNIFORM?!" She screamed and the whole class turned to look at you. Welp there goes anonymity.

You took a deep breath and walked to the front of the class. "Okay, before anyone asks, yes, I am a female wearing the males uniform because the girls one was too short for me, and, no offense to the girls in the class, but, I don't really enjoy gossip or anything feminine for that matter. So please, if you have a question, just write it on a sheet of paper with your name on it and I'll answer it when I get enough sleep. Peace out." You made the peace sign and sat back down in your desk.

After your "speech", Denki walked to the front of the class and desperately tried to cover up for your angry outburst by saying, "Sorry about her everyone. She isn't that social, and well, I've been one of her few friends for a REALLY long time," he nervously chuckled, "Anyway, I'm Kaminari Denki and that girl was Shinsō (y/n)! Bye!"
