Donnie's POV
I let out a sigh as I looked down at the tracker in my hand. Me and my brothers stood on a rooftop that was about ten feet away from the location that the Kraang had discussed on the communicator, but there wasn't a Kraang bot in sight.
"Hey Donnie, did they give you a time of when they were gonna attack?"
Raph asked as he leaned against the wall of what looked to be a storage unit. I rolled my eyes at his comment before replying.
"They said they would attack right after tea time."
I smirked at him with sarcasm. He shot me a annoyed glare as Mikey got in his face .
"Haha he brunt you."
I laughed at him as he stuck his finger in Raph's face. Raph soon lost his patience with him and grabbed Mikey's finger and twisted it. I turned my back on them as they continued to fight and bicker.
I glanced at Leo who was crouched down on the edge of building staring off into the dark of the night. I let my eyes focus back on the building across from us. It looked to be a big town house not a normal apartment building, the roof though is what caught my attention.
The roof was filled with many different color flowers, there was a black leather chair sitting in the middle with a charcoal gray table sitting beside it. What really caught my attention was the silver music stand sitting in front of it.
My mind wonder to the thought of the kind of person who lived there, I was pulled out of my thoughts when I heard Leo speak.
"Why are they attacking here?"
He had his hand on the handle of his katana as he glanced at me.
"They said that there was an object of great importance that needed to be obtained."
He nodded his head and turned his attention to Raph and Mikey. I glanced at them to see Raph sitting on Mikey's shell holding his head down on the pavement.
"Raphael is better than me in every way."
Mikey struggled to say the chant Raph always made him say when he did something stupid.
"Raph that's enough."
Leo ordered as he turned back around to watch our target.
Raph left Mikey laying on the ground and came over to join me and Leo.
"So how long are we gonna have to wait?"
He asked with his rough Brooklyn accent.
"Not long. Look."
I pointed to the movement at the door that lead to the roof. We all pulled out our weapons ready to attack but what we saw surprised all of us.
A young girl walked through the door carrying what looked to be a violin case. I found myself more interested in the girl than what she was carrying. She was tall -maybe about 5'11- her hair was a chocolate brown color with kinky curls and went partially below her shoulders, she was wear a long deep red sweater dress with black leggings underneath and a light gray scarf around her neck.
We were to far away to see her face but I could tell she was wearing glasses and her checks was a rosie color. I felt a unknown feeling rise in my chest as I watched her sit in the black chair.
"She's beautiful."
I mumbled under my breath.
"What was that brainiac?"
Raph smirked up at me.
"Is the Kraang after her?"
Mikey asked.
"They said they were after a object not a person."
I turned to look at him
"But the Kraang see people as an object."
Raph turned to join us.
"But it's very unlikely that they are after her. Possible but not likely."
I said as I crossed my arms over my chest.
Our conversation continued for a moment the three of us discussing weather who was right about this situation, becoming unaware of to our surroundings. We were soon snapped back into reality when we heard Leo's voice.
"Guys it looks like our new friend has company."
Quickly I turned to see the young brunette backing up to the edge of building as tons of Kraang bots surrounding her.
"I was so right."
Mikey said but I barley heard him since I was already jumping to the roof across from us, Bo staff in hand.
With a loud thud I landed in between her and the Kraang bots. I heard her let out a yelp of surprise behind me but I stayed facing forward. The bots stopped at first, tilting their heads to the side to look at me, I heard the thuds of my brothers landing beside. We formed a wall between the young girl and the bots, I heard the brunette speak and found myself smiling at he sound of her voice.
"This is impossible."
"Kraang must obtain that which is known as a computer chip."
The one in front took a step forward before pointing his laser gun at me. I made the blade come out of the end of my Bo staff, and swung at them and said.
"Obtain this!"
That's how the fighting started, soon all the bots were shooting at us. My brothers and I were throwing them off the side of the building as we finished them off. 20 defeated bots and 3 broken flower pots later, we stood there making sure none of them would come back.
"Booyakasha!"
Mikey fist pumped the air, I gave him a soft smile putting my Bo staff back up before turning to look at the girl. She was standing behind us, looking around at the mess around us with her arms crossed over her chest. Her eyes locked on mine, and I saw for the first time that her eyes were gray, like the clouds before the storm. They were captivating.
"Who are you? What are you? How is this even scientifically possible?"
She motioned to us, looking upset and confused.
"Excuse me miss my name is Donatello and these are my brothers."
I nodded at her before introducing the other pointing at each of them as I did so.
"Michelangelo, Raphael and Leonardo, and we can explain everything. But first what is your name?"
She stared at me debating weather are not she could trust me. She let out a soft sigh letting her body relax before reaching up to take her glasses off. She gave me a slight smile and said.
"My name is Kelly. Kelly Johnson."
