Kelly's POV
2 Months Later

I sat on the edge of my soft bed as I finished the tight braid on side of my head. I smiled as I looked around the room, my room. It wasn't anything fancy, it was simple the wall were white, my bed frame and dresser were dark gray. The sheets on my bed were yellow and lite gray. I looked at myself in the mirror for a moment and smiled at my reflection, for the first time since my brother died that I actually looked healthy.

I thought of how my life had changed in past months of living here and all that I had learned. I've learned that Mikey can't be beat at video games, to steer clear of Raph when his face was as red as his bandanna, Casey is a pig and April hates me, to never say anything about Leo's scar, Chanel is an artist and that I have fallen in love with Donatello.

My smile grew even more as I thought of my purple masked hero and the hours we had spent talking about everything and even the nights I've slept in his room. Me and him were usually stuck to each other's hip, we were inseparable but I still struggled with the thought of telling him my true feelings. I feared that he only thought of me as as friend, with a sigh I grabbed my crutch and slowly stood myself up.

I could now put a little pressure on my bad leg but not to much so I still had to use one crutch. Slowly I made my way to the door and out into the hallway. The lair was very quiet since the boys were out on patrol. I finally made it to Chanel's room after what seemed like forever, I smiled as look in the room.

Chanel was sitting on a bar stool behind a stand that held a white canvas, she was wearing a long button up apron and her auburn hair was pulled up into a tight bun on her head. Her brown eye looked over top of the canvas at me, as she greeted me.

"It's about time you get here, I heard you coming for ten minutes."

She said jokingly.

"It's a new record the fact I made it here in under twenty minutes."

I smirked as made my way over to her bed, I sat myself down on the edge of the bed making Klunk raise his orange fur body up and walk over to me. He laid himself down on my leg as I ran my hand through his fur. I looked back up at Chanel to see her focussed on her canvas but she still spoke as she painted.

"So have you told Donnie yet?"

I raised a brow at her question.

"Told him what?"

She stopped paint and peaked her whole head over the canvas and gave me a look as she said

"Really? Are you going to play clueless?"

I chuckled at her.

"No I haven't said anything to him yet."

She shook her head and went back to painting.

"And why not?"

"Because I'm afraid, that he won't like me back."

I lowered my head.

"Oh Kelly, you sound just like me."

She was now off the stool looking at me as she took off her apron, and placing her supplies on the small table next to her.

"Were you this way with Raph?" I asked.

"Yes. It took me forever actually."

"When did you know you loved Raph ?"

I asked as she came over to the bed and sat next to me.

"The moment I meet him."

She smiled real big with a far off look in her eyes.
