It's three days already since Gage's been absent from school and as much as I hate to admit it,I was starting to worry more than I should. His results are still with me and surprisingly I haven't taken a peek...yet
And it's getting harder by the minute not to take a sneak peek and know how the so claimed bad boy performed in his test.

I sigh for the umpteenth time and slip it back in my textbook to continue with my food. Cole, Liam and Drew don't look bothered that their friend is not in school. Of course they aren't because they probably know where he is and from the look of things don't want anyone to know.

I had asked Cole about Gage earlier and all I got was a stiff response and the same tight lipped smile Drew had."He's fine Skylar, I'm sure it's nothing serious." With that he walks away leaving me more suspicious than ever.

"...Wanna hear a pick up line Amy?"Cole winks suggestively at her and we all groan in annoyance at what is coming next.

"I'd rather not hear your lame and cheesy lines Cole."She rolls her eyes at him but he just grins widely.

"Do you like Star Wars?Because Yoda only one for me!"

"Seriously man? That's the best you could come up with?"Drew laughs mockingly.

Amy looks unimpressed as she stares blankly at him, apparently she doesn't grab the joke quickly until seconds after. "Actually I hate it...thanks a lot."

"But that joke is epic man. Okay I got another one,wait for it..."Cole continues which makes Amy groan loudly.

Moving closer to her, he says."Do you have a license?Because you're driving me crazy."

"Dude are you trying to scare her away or what?"Liam speaks up in between laughs.
Surprisingly,Amy doesn't say something insulting to Cole and I catch a tint of red on her cheeks as shoves him away.

Is she actually blushing??

Well... Cole can be charming so I don't blame her.

"Don't you find it weird?"Paige moves closer to me,whispering. It's English period and Miss Taylor's monotonous voice vibrates around the classroom, making students more bored than ever.

"Find what weird?"I stop doodling on my textbook and turn my head slightly to face her. She gives me a "are you serious right now?"look and I just shrug.

"Gage's still not in school. I thought he was sick but I'm starting to think it's more than that plus the guys are acting all weird. Does that not look strange to you?"She gesticulates, pointing to Gage's empty seat at the back.

I couldn't agree more with her.

"Believe me it does and with the guys behaving like it's a normal thing makes it all the more suspicious."I reply shaking my head.

Paige's eyes widen and she snaps her fingers."Maybe he's part of an illegal gang and that's where he is now,doing illegal stuffs.That sounds plausible right?"

Though it sounds dangerous, but for someone like Gage it's not farfetched and knowing that left a bitter taste in my mouth."Wish I could say so Paige."I reply quietly.

"Miss Parks,Miss Davies...Would you like to share with us what's so important that it can't wait till after my class?"Miss Taylor retorts and immediately all heads turn to face us.
