Chapter 16~ Sobbing and Guilt

Tomura finally arrived back at Kai's place. He quickly walked in locking the door behind him, making his way up the stairs and into the bedroom. There, he saw Kai still in bed, asleep. Tomura smiled feeling relieved that Kai wasn't awake while he was gone. Tomura felt Kai's forehead. It was still warm. Tomura put the bag next to him and sat down on the bed. Tomura looked over at Kai. This was his first time seeing him without his mouth mask. He looked almost peaceful when he slept. Tomura smiled to himself, feeling his face heat up. Tomura lied down next to Kai, slowly drifting to sleep.

Tomura opened his eyes slowly. He noticed Kai was no longer in bed. He sat up and saw the medicine had been opened already. He then got out of bed and walked over to the bathroom, hearing water running.

Tomura slowly opened the door and closed his eyes and walked in. "Don't worry! I'm not looking!" Tomura called out while feeling around, making sure he doesn't trip. "Don't worry you can open your eyes. Im still wearing boxers." Kai's voice was comforting to Tomura, so he slowly opened his eyes, to see Kai relaxing in the bathtub with his boxers still on. Tomura sat down next to the bathtub. He shuddered a little as it was cold in the house. Tomura sneakily dipped his hand into the warm water, as he felt a little better, but still cold. "Sorry it took a little longer then I was hoping it would take." Tomura apologized. Kai just shrugged his shoulders as he leaned back more into the bathtub. "It's fine."

Tomura looked down at his arm and lifted up the sleeve. The handprint was still there but it was now starting to look more like a bruise. Kai saw the handprint and immediately sat up. He grabbed Tomura's arm and lifted the sleeve more. "Who did this to you?" Kai's tone was filled with anger which made Tomura feel a little nervous. "Uhm... it was an accident..." Kai touched the bruised spot gently. This made Tomura wince in pain. "Shiga, I'm not going to repeat myself. Who did this?" Kai asked, still gently touching Tomuras arm. "I fell! That's it I just fell..." Tomura began to sob.

Kai's expression changed immediately from anger to worry. "Shiga, Its okay. I just want to protect you thats all." Kai hummed as he brought Tomura into a hug. Since Kai was in the bath, he got Tomuras hoodie wet, but Tomura didn't mind. Tomura just cried into Kai's shoulder.

After Tomura calmed down, they sat there and talked for a while. Tomura talked about how Kurogiri would comfort him when he was upset like this. Kai did get a little jealous, but not as jealous as he usually was. They ended up talking for about half an hour. Kai even told him about his plans to get Eri back. After they finished their conversation, Kai got out and dried off. He then changed his boxers and put on some grey sweatpants. While Tomura, changed into some shorts and a large black shirt.

Once they were both dressed in comfortable clothing, they decided to go downstairs into the living room, and watch some T.V. Tomura began to fall asleep. Kai noticed this and decided to carry Tomura to bed. He lied Tomura in bed, and tucked him in. After that, he lied down next to him and feel asleep as well. Tomura lied there asleep, with Kai's arm around his waist.

Dabi sat on his bed regretting everything he had said earlier. He felt extremely guilty for yelling at Tomura like that. He wished he could go back in time and take back everything he said. Then, he heard his door creak open, and Toga appeared. She walked over and sat next to him. "You acted like such a bitch earlier today. Tomorrow, when Tomura gets back, you need to apologize." Dabi nodded "Yeah, I plan on doing that." His tone sounded sad, and regretful. "It's just that Tomura acted immaturely. He can't just leave us like that. He's the leader for gods sake." Toga just shrugged. "Well, yeah but you can't just yell at him." Dabi sighed "I know. I was just mad." Toga began to get up. "Okay, well I'm going to bed. You should do the same." She walked out, shutting the door behind her. Dabi just sighed, and lied down on the bed. He quickly fell asleep soon after.
