Chapter 43~ The argument

-Damn, Tomura's having some sad moments :/-

It was quiet in the car, until Chronostasis finally spoke up. "Y'know, Overhauls pretty upset with the way you acted earlier." Tomura scoffed under his breath. 'He's upset? I'm upset! He killed one of my leagues members, and HE'S upset?!' "Oh... I guess I should apologize when I get there..." Tomura felt his blood boil. "Yeah... before you came, I barely ever saw him happy. You really changed him..." Chronostasis sounded thankful for Tomura. Tomura let out a sigh. "If I'm being honest... I am a little mad at him... I found some unsettling news tonight... he lied to me about something... and I plan on confronting him about it." Chronostasis didn't say anything for a moment. "Oh... if you don't mind me asking, what did he do?" Tomura went quiet. He didn't want to start crying in the car. "I'd rather not say..." Chronostasis nodded, and went back to paying attention to the road in front of him. Tomura knew that if he said anything about Spinner, he'd most likely start crying, and he wanted to at least wait until he got back to Kai's home. Tomura was to mad to think about what could happen if he made Kai to mad. He just wanted the satisfaction of confronting him for killing his friend. Chronostasis let out a small sigh. "You really mean a lot to him, y'know. I've never seen him this happy..." Tomura felt tears prick his eyes. Tomura loved him... he really did. But he couldn't just let Kai get away with killing his friend. He a least wants to yell at him.

They soon pulled up to the familiar two story house. Chronostasis got out, and opened the door for Tomura. Tomura got out, and immediately felt anxiety rush over him. 'What am I doing? What if he kills me? No... he wouldn't do that... would he?' Chronostasis walked Tomura over to the door. He opened it. "I'll see you later, Tomura." He then walked back to the limousine.

Tomura slowly walked in, and saw Kai leaning on the kitchen counter. "Kai..." Tomura mumbled. Kai glanced over at him. "Did you kill Spinner..." Tomura asked, feeling anger start to replace the anxiety. "What do you-" Tomura interrupted him. "Did you kill him!?" Kai's eyes went wide in shock. "You did? Didn't you!" Tomura shouted, as tears started rolling down his cheeks. "I-..." Kai didin't know what to say. He just stared at him in shock. "Why?! Why would you kill him!?" Tomura felt anger filling him. "Answer me!" Large tears were rolling down Tomura's cheeks. "Shiga, calm down..." Kai finally spoke. "No! How can I calm down!? You killed one of my league members!" Tomura screamed back. "I'm not gonna fucking calm down!" Tomura wanted to punch Kai in the face at that point.

Kai was wearing sweatpants. He looked as if he had just gotten out of the shower. "Stop yelling, Shiga." This just made Tomura even madder. "Let me guess, if I don't you're gonna turn me into a pool of blood?! That's what you did to Spinner!" Kai somehow managed to keep his temper.

Tomura suddenly balled his hand up into a fist, and attempted to punch Kai in the face. Kai quickly grabbed Tomura hand, catching his fist before it made contact with his face. Tomura pulled his fist away, and broke down crying. He slid down, onto his knees, as large tears dripped down his pale face.

Kai took this chance to grab his tie, which was sitting on the counter. He knelt beside Tomura, grabbing his wrist, and tying them together. "This is just so you can't attack me anymore." Tomura glared at him, as tears still dripped down his face. Kai then lifted Tomura up, bridal style, and carried him to the couch. He gently sat him down. Kai then sat next to him. "Why would you kill him..." Tomura mumbled out. Kai gently stroked Tomura's cheek, wiping away his tears. But Tomura still felt anger towards Kai, so he did the first thing that popped into mind.

He tried to bite his hand. Kai quickly pulled it away before Tomura could sink his teeth in. This was the last straw. Kai stood up, and glared down at Tomura. "How old are you!? You're acting like a five year old!" Kai yelled, which made Tomura flinch, as he never heard Kai yell at him before. "That's why you don't form strong bonds with your members! Their job isn't to survive! It's to keep you safe! Maybe if you weren't so caught up in your little fairytale land, you'd learn that by now! Not everything goes your way!" Tomura felt his heart race, as Kai scolded him. "Kai... I-" Tomura was interrupted. "What!? You're sorry!? That's not gonna do! You can't just attack me, and then act as if saying sorry will change everything! It changes nothing!" Kai's voice was full of anger. Tomura felt even more tears roll down his cheeks. He hated being yelled at. It was one of the worst feelings in the world to him.

Tomura's wrists were still tied up with Kai's tie. Kai let out a sigh. "Once you're done throwing a fit, you can come up to the bedroom. Until then, you're staying down here." Kai then made his way towards the stairs. "Kai... wait!" Tomura didn't want to be alone. Even though Kai had just yelled at him, he still wanted Kai's arms around him. Kai glanced at Tomura, but only for second. He continued walking up the stairs. "Kai!" Tomura shouted, as tears kept falling. He then heard the bedroom door slam shut. Tomura broke down into a sob. He kept repeating Kai's name under his breath, hoping that he'd come back down and comfort him. Sadly, that never happened. Tomura ended up falling asleep on the couch that night.
