Chapter 28~ An awkward encounter

Dabi was relieved that Overhaul let him go, but why? Overhaul barely ever showed mercy on people. Could he be hiding something? Dabi was extremely curious now, but before he did anything, he needed to call Hawks. He dialed the heroes number, and held the phone up to his ear, waiting for Hawk's soothing voice to come through. "Hello? Oh! Hey Dabi!" Hawks spoke in his usual relaxed tone. "Hey Hawks." Dabi spoke back. "Um... I was speaking with Overhaul earlier and he knows about us..." Dabi said this in a hushed tone. "Wait... how?" Hawks questioned, sounding panicked. "He said he saw me going to your house..." Dabi responded. "Crap... he could use this against us... if someone finds out I'm having a relationship with a villain I'll be ruined!" Hawks spoke. "What do we do?" Dabi asked. "I-I'm not sure... here um... meet me at my house, please." Hawks said in a quiet tone. "Alright." Dabi spoke before hanging up. Dabi then texted Kurogiri letting him know he won't be home for a while. Kurogiri asked why, but Dabi just left him on read.

Kai arrived home, and carried the sleeping Tomura in his arms. He carried him inside and into the bedroom, gently laying him down on the bed. He took off his mask and glanced down at Tomura. 'Shiga's probably uncomfortable in those clothes...' Kai thought to himself, looking down at Tomura. 'I'll just take them off for him...' Kai then start to untie Tomura's sneakers, taking them off and gently setting them on the ground next to the bed. He decided to leave Tomura's socks on, as he moved up to his pants. He slowly unbuttoned the jeans, and slid them off, revealing Tomura's boxers. Kai smirked to himself, admiring Tomura's scarred pale legs. He then slowly moved up to Tomura's shirt. He then gently removed it, being careful not to wake him. He looked down at the pale body, smirking to himself. Kai gently ran his fingers over Tomura's pale body. Kai's pants felt even tighter on him, somehow.

He let out a sigh, before getting up and grabbing one of his t-shirts. He went back over to Tomura, carefully putting the shirt on him. Kai then started to undress himself, leaving him in his boxers. He then proceeded to lay down next to Tomura. He had a bulge in his boxers and it was obvious. He put the covers of his lower half, attempting to hide it. He soon drifted to sleep.

Tomura woke up, feeling Kai asleep next to him. He looked over at him and blushed, seeing that he was shirtless. Tomura then realized he wasn't wearing the same clothes he had on earlier. He then looked back over to Kai, who had the covers on his lower half. Kai looked pretty peaceful when he slept, and Tomura had to admire it. Kai moved subtly in his sleep. He ended up kicking the covers down a little, revealing part of his boxers. Tomura noticed something, and quickly turned away, blushing. 'I-is he hard?' Tomura asked himself. He turned back to double check, and he was right. He ended up staring. 'Wow...' Tomura thought to himself.

He then noticed Kai was starting to wake up. Kai looked at Tomura, before sitting up. Tomura sat up as well, his face as red as a strawberry. "Is something wrong, Shiga?" Kai asked, still sounding tired. Tomura nodded slowly. "Y-Yeah... um y-your boxers..." Kai gave him a confused look, before looking down, and blushing. "I um..." Kai then quickly got up and put on some sweatpants. Tomura knew that for the rest of the day it'd be awkward between them.

Kai wanted to disappear at that moment. 'Maybe he thinks nothing of it...' Kai tried to reassure himself. He knew he was probably red in the face. "Sorry... I uh... guess It must have been a random boner..." Kai spoke with a nervous laugh following. Tomura nodded slowly. "Y-yeah..." Part of Tomura was hoping it wasn't just a random boner.

Kai went downstairs and made breakfast, while Tomura watched T.V. 'Was it really just a random boner? I mean he did change my clothes for me... maybe it was because of me... no... i'm to ugly. It was probably just a random boner...' Tomura though to himself as a frown appeared on his face. Kai then handed him a plate of fried eggs. "Here..." Kai sounded embarrassed. Tomura smiled. "Thanks!" Kai nodded. "Alright well... I decided to go into work today." Tomura wanted to beg him to stay but just decided to let him. "Oh... okay..." Tomura spoke sounding sad. Kai pat Tomura on the head, before going upstairs to take a shower and get ready.

Once Tomura heard the shower turn on, and was sure Kai wouldn't be able to hear him, he let out a groan. 'Why do I always fall for people who will never love me?' Tomura asked himself, as he slumped down into the couch cushion. "Why do I have to be so ugly? He'll never love me..." Tomura mumbled to himself. He laid down onto his side, closing his eyes. He imagined how he saw Kai this morning. He felt his face warm up a little. 'He's so nice to me...' Tomura thought to himself, still thinking about Kai. He soon drifted to sleep, thinking about Kai.

Kai stood at the top of the stairs thinking about what he had just heard Tomura say. Who was he talking about when he said 'He'll never love me' Who's he? Kai was going to take a shower and was going back down stairs to get more soap, but then heard Tomura talking to himself. Kai sighed, and ran his finger through his hair. He walked down the steps, and noticed Tomura was asleep. Kai felt his cheeks warm up, as he smiled to himself thinking Tomura looked cute when he was asleep. Kai walked down into the basement, and grabbed some soap. He went back upstairs, and washed up, afterwards getting dressed.

Once he finished he walked ack down stairs. He walked over to the couch where Tomura was sleeping. He ran his gloved fingers through Tomura's hair. He then grabbed a sticky note, and wrote something down. It said 'Remember to take a shower when you wake up.' Kai then left, still wondering who Tomura was talking about.
