-A pretty depressing scene for Tomura in this chapter-
Tomura soon woke up, but when he did, he immediately got a throbbing headache. He let out a groan, as the headache seemed to worsen the more he sat up. He got off the couch, and went into the kitchen. He knew Kai had a thermometer some where. He soon found one in the second to last drawer. He took his temperature, and the thermometer said 100.6. Tomura groaned and began looking for medicine. Sadly, Kai didn't really have much. Tomura sighed, and went upstairs to get dressed. He would have to go to the pharmacy and pick up some. He grabbed his phone to check the weather. It was supposed to be cold outside that day with a chance of rain. He sighed and began looking for some warm clothes. He ended up putting a pair of Kai's sweatpants on and one of his T-Shirts. Tomura then put on his black hoodie, and sneakers. He went back downstairs and into the kitchen. He saw a note in the kitchen saying that Kai was at work and to just make himself a sandwich. 'Hmm... while I'm out I might pick up something from a bakery. I'm in the mood for some chocolate cake right now.' Tomura thought to himself. He then grabbed a piece of paper writing 'I'm going to the pharmacy to get some headache medicine, and while I'm gone I'm also getting something from a bakery. Hope you don't mind.' Tomura put it next to the note Kai had left.
Tomura then stepped out the front door, locking it behind him. He walked along the sidewalk, as he entered the city. Like always, people made disgusted noises and expressions when Tomura walked by them. Tomura just kept his head down, and tried not to get mad and kill every last one of them. He soon arrived at the pharmacy. He went inside and got some headache medicine. He walked back out into the busy sidewalk. Rain had started pouring down and people were now rushing to get home. If Tomura wasn't wearing the quirk-canceling collar, at least one of these people would've been decayed.
Tomura tried his best to stay on his feet and not be pushed over by the many people rushing past him. He then heard a familiar voice. He put his hood over his head, and just listened to them as they walked by. It was Toga and Magne. He wanted to run over and hug them, but knew he couldn't. Toga and Magne seemed to be talking about questioning villains... Tomura wasn't sure what they meant by that, so he decided to follow behind them and just listen to what they were planning.
"So all we have to do is go to random villains bases and question them?" Magne asked Toga. Toga nodded. "Yeah. Just incase Tomura was kidnapped and is being held hostage." Tomura stopped in his tracks, and went wide eyed. 'They think I'm being held hostage?' Tomura felt his knees begin to shake. Suddenly, a man shoved past him, as Tomura landed on the hard, wet concrete. He made a pained groan, as he winced. Nobody bothered to even help him. Everyone just kept walking, not even glancing down at him. His headache felt even worse now.
He felt a hand on his shoulder. The hand felt small. Tomura looked up, and saw Toga. "T-Tomura?" Once Toga realized it really was Tomura, she start jumping up and down. "Tomura! It's really you! Magne! I found Tomura!" She shouted excitedly. Magne soon ran over. "Tomura! We missed you so much!" Magne and Toga both crouched down and hugged Tomura. Tomura smiled and hugged them back. "I-I've missed you guys too." They soon broke apart. "C'mon Tomura! Let's get you home! Kurogiri's gonna be so happy!" Before Tomura could say anything, Magne grabbed his arm and pulled him to his feet. Tomura was about to protest but Toga interrupted him. "We're so glad we finally found you! We've all missed you so much! Things really haven't been the same without you." Toga's voice was filled with happiness. Tomura sighed, and just let it happen.
They soon arrived at the base. Tomura felt odd being there. It had been a while since he saw it. Magne and Toga dragged him inside. He heard glass shatter, as he looked over to where Kurogiri was. He had saw Tomura and dropped his wine glass. Wine splashed on the floor, which reminded Tomura of the man at the restaurant Kai had killed. "T-Tomura..." Is all Kurogiri could manage to get out. He then ran over, and hugged Tomura. Tomura soon hugged back. "Toga... go get Dabi. I think he'll like to see Tomura too." Kurogiri spoke, still hugging Tomura tightly. Toga nodded, and went to get Dabi.
Tomura soon heard Toga and Dabi come out. Kurogiri finally let go of him. Tomura turned to face the raven haired man. Dabi didn't look like everyone else. He looked pissed. "Dabi... I-i'm-" Tomura was interrupted quickly. "What the hell?! You disappear, then come back, then disappear again!? What the actual fuck!?" Dabi shouted angrily. "Dabi, I'm sorry!" Tomura shouted back, as tears pricked his eyes. Before Tomura knew it, Dabi grabbed his arm, and was dragging him. Dabi then shoved him into a room. It was Tomura's old room. Dabi then shut the door. Tomura tried to open it, but something was blocking it. "Let me out!" Tomura shouted while pounding on the door. "No! Maybe now that you're locked in your room, you won't leave!" Dabi shouted back, angrily. Tomura tried to take the collar off, so he could decay the door, but the collar wouldn't budge. "Please..." Tomura spoke, as he started to sob. He heard Dabi scooting what he could assume was a small bookshelf in front of the door. "I'll let you out once I know you won't run away again." Dabi spoke. He then heard Dabi start to walk away from the door. Tomura kept pounding on the door, as tears dripped down onto the ground. "Please!" Tomura cried out. He soon broke down, large tears running down his pale, scarred up face. He heard Kurogiri, Magne, and Toga arguing with Dabi.
Tomura soon fell asleep next to the door, hoping that it would magically open in the middle of the night.
