Chapter 19 Colbys POV

"Soooo....." Corey grins over at me from across the counter. "Explain."

"Explain what?" I say playing dumb.

Jake gets up off the sofa and spins me around on my chair to face him.

"You know what we mean. What's the story with the girl?"

"Seriously nothing, okay. We're just friends, me and Sam meet her while exploring and that's it."

Corey raises his eyebrow at me. "Colby, you got the look bro."

Jake takes a step back and says, "you got the look!"

I instantly feel my cheeks start to redden. Stupid look giving everything away.

"You've not bad the "look" since Amber Colby."

Jake instantly regrets what he says and start to apologise.

"No Jake, you're right. I haven't had the look since Amber and we all know how that ended. I was in a dark place Jake ready to change everything for her. I'm not going back to that."

I start to leave the room but Corey grabs me and stops me.

"Colby Brock, I known this girl for literally a couple of days and I can already tell that she is nothing like Amber."

I shrug him off and me argue, "Just drop it okay!" And leave the room heading upstairs to my room.

What the boys said pisses me off because.....they were right.

I *was* falling for her.....
