Chapter 23

Alys POV

Aaron and I walked into school hand in hand. I didnt wear a beanie because they are not aloud in school. As we walked down the halls I heard alot of peoples whispers, they all felt bad and it angered me I dont need their pity. I heard things like, I feel so bad for her, oh my god she must have cancer, poor girl. Shit like that made me mad. I clutched onto Aaron in the middle of the hallway, in attempt to not get angry and flip out on everyone,

"Baby are you okay"

"Make them stop, please"

"Make what stop"

"Them, their pity, make it stop"

"Im sorry"

All I heard was more whispers from people. The next person I heard caused me to go crazy.

"OKAY EVERYONE NEEDS TO SHUTUP WITH THE PITY. STOP JUST STOP" I shouted.

"Hormones" i heard someone say from behind me. I turned around with my fists clenched. Faith.
"What was that" I said between clenched teeth.

"Oh nothing" thats when I was done, I swung at her and punched her straight in the jaw, causing her to fall to the ground. She held onto her jaw as she cried, her caked on makeup was smeared down her face. I spotted a aorner far away fromthe scene. I always sat in a corner to have my panic attacks. Running to it, the tears dripped out of my eyes. Honestly there was no reason to be crying, I should be happy that I stood up for myself. Aaron chased after me, I stopped dead in my tracks, trying to catch my breath. He picked me up and turned me around,

"Alz its okay shhhh it okay" I grabbed onto his torso like I would never see him again.  He picked me up forcing me to wrap my legs around his waist. We walked all the way to the usual spot at the park.

"Baby its okay you did what you had to do" he told me rubbing my back.

We stayed at the park until the end of the day. The rest of the group showed up and spoke nothing about what had happened earlier.

I noticed Taylor was not there, he is hard to miss.

"Hey Matt do you know where Taylor is"

"Ya he went to pick up his boyfriend"

Soon enough Taylor showed up holding hands with a guy.

"Hey everyone this is my boyfriend"

"Hi" we all said

"Im Kenny, Kenny Holland"

"Im Aly"

"Im Aaron"

"Im Erin"

"Im Matt"

"Im Tori"

"Im Nash"

"Im Hayes"

"Meghan"

"Cam"

"Im Maddie"

"Carter" when I heard his voice shivers were sent down my spine.

"Meghan can I talk to you for a second"

"Sure"

We walked over to the swings and sat down."so Meghan I need to talk to you about Carter"

"Why?"

"I uhhhh i saw him ummmmm he was kissing another girl"

"What are you talking about Aly he would never do that"

"But he did and im sorry just talk to him about it and tell me what he says"

"Okay"

We walked back over to the group and talked with them. I saw kenny glancing at my head out of the corner of my eye.

"Oh Kenny I forgot to tell you that I have a brain tumor and im in chemo"

"Okay thanks for telling me"

"No problem"

My stomache started to hurt and I became light headed "Aaron can we head home I dont feel very good"

"Ya are you doing okay babe your very pale" I shook my head as my vision was getting blurry. I sat onthe ground and made my eyes stay open

"Take me to  Dr. Tommy"

He picked me up and ran me to his car not bothering to tell everyone else. What is happening.
