Goodbye

Aly's P.O.V.

Today was the day, the I move halfway across the country to Louisiana. My parents are making me move there, my grandma recently passed away and we are moving into her house. A house far away from my friends and everyone I know. Yay.

"Come say bye to everyone we are leaving soon" my mother yelled interrupting me from my thoughts. "Okay" I yelled back in a depresed sounding voice. I walked down the stairs slowly, taking as long as possible to make it last longer. Once I get down the stairs I emedietly start feeling the tears pour down my face. I never want to leave. Looking up through my blurred eyes I see my best friend Maddie crying hysterically away from everyone else. Well this should be fun I think sarcastically to myself. Taking slow steps towards her the tears are coming faster and faster. "Maddie" I manage to sqeak out. She looks up and runs toward me. "Please dont leave" she whisoers while hugging me. "I'll be back soon, I promise" I tell her and she just nods. "Aly time to go" my mom yells. "Maddie I will see you soon dont worry we can skype everyday morning and night, love you guuuuuuuurrrrl" I saywhich makes us both giggle. "Yaaaaaaaaasssss love you to call me when you get there" she yells while I walk to the car and wave while I get in the back seat and put my headphones in my ears. "Goodbye california" I whisoer to myself while holding back tears the best I can. I am going to miss this place.

The car ride to the airport was very awkward and quiet untill we got to the airport and headed to our flight. I got on the plane in slow strides and took my last glance at California for a while. I cant belive I am leaving already.
