(The next morning)
(Mal's pov)
"Hey good morning." Ben said standing in my doorway.
"Ben? What are you still doing here? Did you stay over?" I asked.
"Yeah. I wasn't sure when your parents were coming home. So I stayed the night. Just in case they came back." Ben explained.
"Ben, you really didn't have. How's your arm?" I questioned sitting up.
"It still hurts, but I'm gonna be okay. Don't worry about me. You sleep okay?" Ben checked.
"Yeah. So my parents still aren't home?" I answered and asked.
"No. Maybe you should text them and see when they're coming home." Ben suggested.
"Yeah you're right." I nodded, then reached for my phone and saw a bunch of texts from them. "They're staying a couple nights with friends."
"Oh. Well should I stay with you until they get back?" Ben offered.
"Really you would do that?" I questioned.
"Yeah. I'm always here to help my friends." Ben replied with a smile.
"Thanks Ben." I smiled back. "So what should we do?"
Ben didn't say anything. He just smiled, then turned around and ran away.
"Ben wait!" I quickly got up and ran after him.
When I got downstairs Ben was grabbing food from the fridge and the closet.
"What are you doing?" I wondered.
"We are going to make the most amazing breakfast in the world." Ben responded as he continued to grab food. "Now are you just gonna watch? Or are you gonna help?"
"Right. Sorry." I stated, then helped Ben get food out.
After we got a lot of food we both just stared at it on the counter.
"So now what?" I questioned looking over at Ben, who was still looking at all the food.
"We can make pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, eggs, or anything that we have stuff to make it with." Ben was suggesting.
"Okay." I was nodding, then got the griddle to make different kinds of pancakes.
About an hour later we had a bunch of food on the table and we were ready to eat. After we were done we both laid on the couch and watched TV.
"Hey Ben?" I said looking over at him.
"Yeah Mal?" Ben replied looking at me.
"What do we do if they come back?" I wondered looking scared.
"I'm not sure yet, but don't worry we'll figure something out." Ben was telling me.
"I just... I don't..." I was trying to say.
"Hey. Hey it's gonna be okay." Ben came over to me and started hugging me. "Don't worry."
I slightly pulled away and looked up at him and he looked at me. Then we both leaned in and kissed. After that we just sat on the couch and Ben had his arm around me.
Later that night we were both at my house watching TV. When there was a knock at the door.
"It's okay. Stay here. I'll get it." Ben told me as he got up to get the door.
I watched as he unlocked the door and slowly started opening the door.
"Hello? Can I help you?" I heard Ben say to someone.
