Cas's POV

I had been searching for Lucifer for days. Angel radio wasn't working. Praying wasn't working and I didn't know what to do, so I decided to pay a visit to Crowley. Surely the king of hell would be keeping tabs on the fallen angel especially since Lucifer thought was the King of hell. It was oddly quiet in hell. Less treacherous screams less security. Normally this place was crawling with demons and screams were a constant. Something was off but I wasn't sure why. After all, what could cause this big of a change in hell. When I got to the throne room I realized what was going on. In the throne sat a man with the brightest white wings I had ever seen. They could only belong to one fallen angel, Lucifer. His presence filled the room with darkness instead of light. You couldn't miss him if you tried he was beautiful but tainted.

"Well what do I owe the honers to see you Castiel?" As he said this demons started appearing. At first it was only a few but now the room was filled with demons just ready to pounce at the command of the fallen angel.

"I come with a message. I'm not here to fight Lucifer."

"Let me guess your little Winchester boys want me to stop destroying the world and in return they won't kill me." Lucifer scoffed.

"No, the message isn't from them." Lucifer sat straighter with curiosity. His head cocked to the side trying to decide if I was really telling the truth. A smile spread across his face as if he knew something I didn't.

"Well isn't this interesting. They don't even know you are here do they?" His smile grew realizing he could do anything and nobody would know something was wrong, "Okay Cas then please do tell me what's this message that you're just dying to tell me?"

"It from Mom. She wants to talk to you Lucifer." Before I could do anything I was being pushed up against the wall. An angel blade to my throat.

"Your lying. My mother is dead. Don't you ever claim her as yours. Don't even think of lying to me like this. Do you have a death wish because if you do, I will gladly give you what you want. Your lucky I don't just kill you now."

"End this now and you will never get to know what else I have to say."

"Why should I care what you have to say." The sting of the blade cutting into my skin became stronger as every second passed.

"Because I know where she is. She died but that doesn't mean you can't talk to her. Pray to her and you will see what I mean." He let the knife down and stepped back and let me walk away. I don't know why he didn't kill me but at this point I didn't care. All I wanted was to get back to Sam and Dean. They had been praying for my help for days and I had ignored it knowing I needed to find Lucifer. Now that I was finally free of any obligation I had accidentally made.

Lucifer's POV

Mom? I don't know if you can hear me but I miss you. Dad said when angels die they just don't exist. I don't know if I ever really believed him... Mom?

I waited but there was no answer. Rage bubbled up inside me. I couldn't control it. I went to earth and I started to cause chaos. Houses and towns destroyed from earthquakes to murders. How could she not respond. How could she ignore me like Dad did. I could feel the anger take control my mind was spinning and then the world around me went black. Darker than any night even in hell I had ever seen. This place was worse than hell but I could tell it was heaven just from the energy it gave off. That's when I saw her. My mother but she looked angry. You could see the way her eyes lit up bright red just like mine. That's when I realized I messed up big time. She had never been this angry at anyone. Her black wings spread out and the world seemed to change to an abandoned city. I was scared of the only person I ever really trusted.

"I raised you better than that Lucifer." Her voice rang out and the ground shook. My heart raced as she looked at me.

"Mom? Is it really you? I'm sorry. I'm so sorry." I could feel the tears fall down my face. I could just barely remember the way she looked. It was an overwhelming feeling to see her now. Let alone so angry at me. I felt like my world was crumbling. How could I make her so upset with me. She was the only one I loved. It became hard to breath and the room felt like it was spinning.

"Lucifer are you okay?" her voice was calm but worried and she came over and held me, "You know I waited so long to see one of my boys in person again and I didn't want the first time after one of them tried to destroy the world I helped create. It's okay honey just take a few deep breaths Lu."

After a few minutes I was finally able to talk again, "I'm sorry Mom."

"I know honey but we need to talk okay?" She sounded far away and I tried to respond. The world became a blur. I kept trying to talk to her but nothing came out. When I could see straight again I looked around and I was in the middle of an empty street. I was on earth again alone in a terrible world I didn't want to be in to begin with.
