[Hunter's POV] We were walking down the street towards the park, other people from the band around us, all walking home or somewhere else. All of a sudden, Ashton yelped. We all stopped and looked at her. She was turned around and looking at a guy standing behind her. He was smirking, she was fuming.
"What?" he asked, shrugging. "What'd I do?" Ash balled her fists.
"Woah, Ash," Dave said, putting a hand on her shoulder. "Calm down, what happened?"
"This douchebag just slapped my ass," she said staring at him. He, again, shrugged.
"You've got a nice ass," he said. "What else am I supposed to do?"
"Maybe just leave her alone," Dave said, standing next to her.
"Who are you exactly?" he asked. "I can do whatever the fuck I want, she's a chick."
"Dustyn Anderson," Jax said, suddenly. "Why don't you just go fuck one of the sluts that keep following you around? At least they want your attention."
"Jackson," Dustyn said. "All those girls are flat as fuck, at least this one's got curves." He winked at Ash. She narrowed her eyes at him.
"I don't care what you think of me," Ash said, glaring at Dustyn. "You can go fuck yourself in the corner of your room while you cry about the fact that no one cares about you."
"Feisty," Dustyn said laughing. "I like this one." He grabbed Ash's wrist and tried to pull her towards him but Dave kept her firmly next to him.
"Fuck off asshole," Dave said. He got Dustyn's hand off of Ash's wrist and they turned around and started walking away. Dustyn glared at the back of Dave's head and looked at Jaden and me. He smirked, winked, and started walking in the other direction.
"Ew," Jaden said. "I think I just thew up in my mouth." I actively gagged and rolled my eyes.
"That dude's such a fucking creep," Ty said. The four of us ran to catch up with Ash and Dave. "I can't believe he dared to do that."
"I can," Jax said, sneering. "He's my next-door neighbor. He brings a different girl home every day. He gets home after me and I can see his front yard from my bedroom window and every day he gets home and has a different girl with him. It's disgusting."
"I was so close to punching him in the face," Dave said. "Guys like him make me sick."
"Thanks for defending me," Ash said, looking at him. "I'm pretty sure that would've ended much worse if you weren't there." He looked back at her and smiled.
"Of course I defended you," he said. "I wasn't just gonna stand there and watch that happen."
We finally got to the park. We walked over to the playground that was out in the middle of nowhere. No one went on the playground anymore. Parents didn't bring their kids there anymore and older people that went there usually vaped or smoked or made out on the skate park on the other side of the park.
"I like hanging out here," Ash said, sitting down on the playground. "No one's ever here so you don't have to worry about making a scene or being judged by other people, except the people you're hanging out with."
"I mean," I said. "When you're with Jaden and me, it's constant judgment."
"Well yeah," Ash said, laughing. "But the way you're talking about it implies that it's only you two that judge me. I'm fairly certain I judge you two way more than you judge me. I'm the most normal person here." She started laughing. "As if."
"I have a question about that Dustyn dude," Jaden said. "What grade is he in?"
"Mine," Jax said. "He's a sophomore. He's been in at least one of my classes every year since kindergarten. He used to be my friend but once he hit middle school, he just turned into this fuckboy who only likes girls for how they look and only wants to fuck. Unfortunately, he lives right next door to me so I hear everything. It's fucking disgusting."
