The Weakling (Ava x Noi)

Noi,as Daemos,was a weakling to his group. He was always the weak one due to growing up in Daemos,he was called weak or pathetic,or a loser. Why..? He was a sensitive one,a child who grew up to be weak.

He was forced to be raised and trained among children but he wasn't the strongest,or the most talented but he was still selected by the king himself. He didn't have a choice,he was young. But he was the kindest or purest Daemos which they all lack.

His magic is great,but weak compared to the other childrens,he gets bullied or taunted by others from their cruel acts. He pretends he is doing alright,and does not cry at all to show no weakness but no matter what...he'll be known as the lowest rank of the royal guards.

Noi was staring at the mirror,looking at his reflection,he could hear laughter in his ears and in the mirror,he saw the rest of the Daemos laughing,and mocking him,calling him names,and etc. He stood up and raised his arm,putting his hand into a fist like he wanted to punch the mirror but he couldn't.

"I-I-I..."

He growls,and snarls in anger. He quickens and rushes at his mirror,grabbing it and throwing it across his bedroom then continues to growls.

"I-I-I'm not weak!" he shouts.

"Noi..?"

Noi suddenly calms down,and smiles. He hides in the mirror and turns around to come face to face with the princess.

"Hi there,princess!" he shouts with excitement.

"Do you wanna hangout today?" she asked.

Noi looked back,and then turned back to Ava with a smile.

"Sure,anything for you. Princess Ava." he replied.

Before the two could leave the apartment,Leif, the assassin,looked,and noticed the two leaving the apartment together,and snicker.

"Really..? Are you seriously going to hang out with him? He's weak,he cannot protect you." said Leif,with a smug face.

Before Ava could give an answer,Noi just grabbed Ava's hand,and tugged her to the front door without even looking back at Leif. The two just left the apartment together leaving Leif in silence,stunned.

Rhys tips his glasses,holding a book,and sighs.

The two are outside together wearing their casual clothing,and Noi hides his horns. He clung his hand onto Ava's hand tightly like he is never letting go.

"You can let me go Noi,is everything okay..?" she asked.

"Oh! Oh,I'm so sorry princess,I was just worried." he said.

He let go of Ava's hand,and smiled nervously and chuckled.

"S-So what are w-we doing t-today?" he said,as he stuttered his words.

"We could go to the park or have ice cream together,or go to a carnival." she said as he pulled out her wallet,and chuckled.

"O-Okay...a carnival sounds fun,i hope it isn't anything dangerous." he said,once again worried.

Ava giggled,and shook her head.

"No no,a carnival is the safest place to be. Trust me." she said,as takes his hand,runs with him.

At the carnival the two arrive,and pay their tickets together. And the first thing Ava did with Noi was trying the bumper cars,and Carousel like a merry-go-round. Then,Ava took Noi to a funhouse together.

Noi was surprisingly having a great time with her. He is happy that he and Ava aren't in any danger in the carnival for the first time coming here.

"Are you hungry,Noi?" asked Ava.

Noi looked down at his stomach,and placed his hand on it as he felt his stomach gurgling loud enough for him to hear. He blushed,and chuckled. He nods at Ava.

"Yep,I'm hungry." he said,blushing.

"Great! You'll love having corn dogs,and funnel cakes!" she shouts with joy,and giggles.

This made Noi smile,and giggles also like Ava.

As they waited in line to get their food,Ava was pushed around by people. She looked back and noticed someone she recognized from high school when she was being bullied. They met eye to eye,but she chose to ignore it,and held onto Noi's right hand. Noi was confused,but he could feel she was nervous.

"Ava..?"

"It's nothing.." she said,nervously.

As night time approaches,the two headed back home and Ava finished eating her two corn dogs and Noi finished his snack as well,the two walked and walked as Noi heard footsteps behind them. Noi looked back,and then looked in front of him.

These humans were surrounding the two of them,Ava clung onto Noi's arm.

"Ava..?" he said,confused.

Suddenly,the two were torn apart from each other and Ava was thrown across to the ground then her head was stumped by someone's feet. She screams. Noi was scared,and without paying attention. He was held by the hands of some bullies.

They're two females,and two males mocking,and making fun of Ava,and even to the point of physically bullying her. Hurting the poor girl like she deserves it.

Hearing her screams were not good to Noi's ears,no other humans were going to step up and save her from harm but Noi,he had an unwanted feeling in his chest. It beats,and beats faster and faster. His pupils pulsing.

Then,they took Ava,and threw her into an alley. Their laughter can be heard in his ears.

It gets loud,and louder until.....there is silence.

Back at the apartment,Ava is being healed by Leif as he nervously sweats,focusing on healing Ava once he takes a look at Noi.

The rest were stunned,shockingly couldn't believe it.

Noi giggles as pure as he is...

"Who's weak now...?"
