Zane Ro'Meave at the age of 5,as the middle child. He witnessed his younger half-brother get abused and suffered by their own father. He was horrified. Each and every night Vylad,his little brother were crying in his bedroom,letting him sleep with him in bed,sharing the bed.

"Garroth,why do daddy hurt Vylad?" asked Zane.

Garroth,seven years old. He was mature and smart enough to know it isn't normal for their dad to beat their own children. He heard that parents do love their children.

"Will mum come back home?" asked Vylad.

Garroth,and Zane looked at their baby brother,and nodded slowly. They had to lie to their younger sibling for his safety,to ease his mind.

Eventually,the three of them fell asleep in Zane's bedroom,they slumber about having a normal family. All they wanted was a father to love them.

A scream can be heard from Vylad's bedroom. The two older siblings quickly went out of their bedroom and pushed open Vylad's bedroom door to witness their father beating him with a belt.

They're 11,9,and 8 years old. Garroth grew angry and grabbed his father from behind,and with the strength he had,he threw him across the room.

"YOU STAY OUT! LEAVE!"

Zane quickly went to Vylad and noticed him bleeding from his nose,and had scars all over his face like he was cut up with a knife. Zane was furious.

"Garroth..."

Garroth turned around,and took a look at his younger brother and worried like a mother,being mature for his age.

Garroth turned his head,and ball up his fists. His eyes flashed emerald eyes for a moment,and spoke;

"Stay away from him! You are a monster!" he shouted.

Throughout the years,the three brothers do their best to survive and pretend that home is okay whenever they go to school. Most teachers questioned them why they have fresh wounds and scars each week but the brothers pretend it was an accident like falling or tripping or accidentally hurt themselves like they act if they were self-harming.

One day,Garroth,and Zane graduated from elementary school but Vylad is still in elementary school. They have different times to be released from school. Vylad returned home first before his older sibling,and he was beaten,and abused by his father before the brothers could rush back home but it was always too late.

This time,Zane had enough and decided to take the beating for Vylad to protect him,Garroth didn't want him to do this but Zane wanted to,he had to. His little brother suffered enough.

Zane has taken a beating each and every week till eventually he has a black eye,but it turned out he is blind in one eye. Big brother Garroth couldn't believe it,so the father decided to take his son to the doctor and lied about his blind eye. He lied about him getting hit by a rock by his brother Garroth in the middle of the winter.

"Daddy lied.." Whispered Zane,muttering to himself.

As the siblings get older,the boys mature themselves and try to evade their father as much as possible. Zane is now wearing a hoodie,and mask to hide his freckles,and an eyepatch to hide his blind eye. He felt insecure about his looks due to being called ugly and fat by his father. While Garroth,he is much like his father and he hates it..he can't stand.
