Nutcracker (Non-Barbie Edition)

Cinderella's present

Aunt Adelaide was at the door Cinderella opened it and the two embraced each other with a hug. "Cinderella!" Oh Aunt Adelaide!" Her aunt noticed her niece that she was a head taller.
Cinderella thought she wasn't coming that year but her aunt reassured her with "I did or i would miss a chance to visit you and vex my uncle?"
Anton Ego overhears it and says " you're already conspiring against me."
Adelaide reassures him none of it would happen and says " don't worry I'll wait until your party's over before I perform any mischief."
Clara asked her aunt " where did you go this time I want to hear all about it."
Her aunt recounts her time in China doing activities such as Meeting an emperor Sailing on a junk riding on a rickshaw and hiking the Great Wall of China.
Anton Ego once again interrupted the conversation. "I'd appreciate it, Adelaide, if you stop filling Cinderella with your stories." He continued "
"Just because you go traipsing all over the globe rather than stay put like a sensible person."
Aunt Adelaide was having none of his nonsense and argued "There's a world full of wonders out there, uncle and Cinderella deserves to experience them."
The doorbell rang and finished their conversation. " your guests are waiting." Anton Ego left to attend the guests.
Aunt Adelaide was relieved, some people never change but we can always hope."

Around 9pm, when the party died down, her aunt continued her story. " then keep out and asked me to dance."
"Did you?" Cinderella asked curiously.
Her aunt replied " I couldn't say no to the king."
Cinderella's eyes filled with wonder and excitement said " you must have felt like a princess. I wish I could've have been there.
Her aunt told her the next time she traveled, she could bring Cinderella along.
Cinderella was concerned of Anton Ego's rules and sadly replied " grandfather will never allow it."
" well surely he won't object to these." Adelaide said as she gave the presents. "Sid. And for you, my dear.
" Wow a Crab General and a Sponge in Command! Thanks! Sid exclaimed preparing his Diorama.
Cinderella opened her present. "A cowboy!" She gazes into the eyes of the toy exclaiming ," He's wonderful! Thank you, Aunt Adelaide!"
Sid was indifferent and complained, " He sure is ugly."
"Sid!" Cinderella said in offense to the comment.
Adelaide assured her niece, " Well on the outside maybe, but inside beats the heart of a Prince."
" Then I'll use him to command my Army!" Said Sid after hearing Adelaide's statement.
Sid fights with Cinderella but rips the arm in the process.
Cinderella was furious, she called Sid "Impossible" and sat on the coach to sew his arm.
" please don't be too angry with Sid I'm sure he didn't mean to hurt you." Cinderella said.
The Cowboy's eyes gleamed making Cinderella falling in love with him.

At night, Cinderella is sleeping on the couch, her aunt and and Uncle were watching her. "It's time we wake her" Anton Ego said.
Her aunt disagreed and said "Why spoil a beautiful dream? No, let her sleep. Cinderella's not a child anymore she deserves the chance to follow her dreams."
Anton Ego sets the clock, a young girl needs to be responsible and practical."
Her aunt agreed "Cinderella is responsible. You've raised her uncle. It's time you trusted her to grow up and make her own choices."
Anton Ego agreed, "It's getting late. I'll  see you in the morning." Both he and Adelaide left the room to let Cinderella sleep peacefully.
