Back at the castle, two soldiers a lizard and a mouse stood before the king.
"So your telling me that the cowboy, a wooden doll, managed to escape a well-armed fighting squadron unharmed? And instead of fleeing in to the hills you chose to return to me to report your incompetence."
The mouse stood still while the lizard gulped in fear.
Fidget suggested to his master to kill the two with his scepter, "I suppose it's possible." He said turning his scepter, but instead changed his mind. "But i find it's power to transform the incompetence more gratifying." he explained.
Ratigan asked Fidget about the statues, lawn ornaments and paper-weights available and Fidget told him that they all being covered. Ratigan questions what to turn the lizard and mouse into. Fidget suggested Bookends and Ratigan casts the spell "Since other challenges pose the challenge to thee, you shall be bookends for eternity!" After he spoke of his spell, the two of them were turned to stone and Ratigan reads a book on the princess.
"Ah ha! The Sugarplum Princess: Kind Clever and Brave, That's it? feeling furious, he threw the book onto the pillar "Where is she?!" He laughs wicked for a while. "I suppose I'll have to reduce the cowboy to splinters and stuffing before he can find her."
He casts the spell on the pillar, "Rock that will walk, destroy whom i seek, carnage and havoc will be yours to wreak!" The rock giant comes to life and Fidget gets scared. "Find the wooden man and crush him!" Ratigan commanded the giant and the creature walked away in response out of the building "Follow him Fidget, He's a bit rough around the edges and may requires your help."
At first Fidget refuses but Ratigan showed him his potential punishment as a statue in the middle of the courtyard. "Alright I'll do it! Better than being a statue in the courtyard and he flies out through the window.
