Around the courtyard all the peasants were captured as well as their property. The cowboy more confident proclaimed. "Sugarplum Princess or no Sugarplum Princess, that rat's got to be stopped!' The cowboy stood on railing and yelled "Is this any way to run a Kingdom, Mouse?" Ratigan exclaims "Ahh. You're just in time for your party." he lits up the wood and increased it turning it into a bonfire The cowboy jumps down and landed on the sacks of money on the ground. He continued his speech "There's more to being a King than having a crown!" Ratigan mocks the cowboy. "Suddenly you're an expert." The cowboy told Ratigan him a piece of advice "You'll never gain their loyalty until you've earned their respect!" Ratigan revealed his true intention "I don't need their loyalty. I don't even need them." he casts the spell "Those peasants who do challenge me, living statuary be!" Ratigan turned all the peasants, including Timmy and Tootie into stone. The cowboy fights Ratigan. Ratigan mocks him "Clever little cowboy. I'm afraid I've underestimated you." he cast a spell on himself and chanted "With the brawn of twenty and six,I'll smash my enemy into sticks." Ratigan grows larger ripping his clothes but his pants and cape intact, hits the cowboy multiple times till he landed on the side of the pillar. Cinderella concerned for the cowboy, rushes to him to finish the battle for him. "Cowboy!" Ratigan gave him two choices, "I'll give you a choice, Cowboy, dismemberment or barbeque. Cinderella refuses none it and she calls Ratigan out "No! You're nothing but a coward, hiding behind a magic wand!" Ratigan filled with rage rambled "I obviously didn't shrink you small enough. Your mouth is still much too big. But that is about to change." The cowboy looks at his pick-axe to see what was going on. "To the one who vexes me, smaller, smaller you will be!" Ratigan chanted for the last time. The cowboy used his pickaxe to protect Cinderella from the curse. "No!" he tried his best and fell to the ground. Ratigan was enchanted by his spell, becoming his original size, the scepter is destroyed. "What? No!" Ratigan runs away, and falls into the sewer. Major Fudge and Captain Vanilla looked down and Fudge proclaimed "Back to where he belongs: The sewer!"
