"I still can't believe they sent everyone home like that." Arisa walked with her friends, grumbling as she went.

"Well, there was that explosion in the bathroom." Hanajima responded quietly. "I think it's more logical to cancel school until they figure out what happened."

"You're too calm about this." Arisa looked over at her. "Are you sure you feel alright? You damn near passed out."

Tohru nodded. "We were really worried. Are you sure you're okay?"

Hanajima smiled faintly with a slight nod. "I feel a little tired, but I'm better now."

"Ah, you're too stubborn. At least let us worry about you a little bit." Arisa sighed. "I'd still like to know what happened."

Hanajima looked down as she walked in thought, holding her bag tightly with both hands. "I've never felt waves so ominous before... such hatred and darkness. It seemed too extreme to be real. And that girl there was giving off strange waves, too. I don't know what to make of it."

"I wonder where that girl went..." Tohru thought quietly out loud to herself. "She looked like she was hurt pretty badly... I hope she's alright."

"I knew I had a bad feeling." Kyo scoffed hotly, then looked over at Tohru, bopping her gently on the top of her head. "You're lucky you happened to not be there when it happened. If you weren't so clumsy, you wouldn't have been close to it at all."

Tohru blushed slightly as their eyes met. "I'll be more careful."

"Stupid cat." Yuki frowned slightly and looked over at him. "Don't blame her for things that aren't her fault."

Kyo's eye twitched and he shot Yuki a glare. "Shut up! You wanna fight me?!"

"You're so obnoxious." Yuki rolled his eyes, looking away.

"Please don't fight." Tohru looked between them, holding her hands up. "I didn't get hurt, so it's really fine."

"That's not the point..." Yuki sighed softly, smiling faintly as he looked at her.

They rounded the corner and stopped as Shigure came into view.

"Oh! Fancy running into you here." He chuckled, looking over at them.

"Shigure?" Yuki blinked at him. "What are you doing here?"

"Oh, me?" He held up the bag he was carrying. "I got hungry, so I decided to pick up some lunch."

"You couldn't just have something delivered?" Kyo crossed his arms.

"Uh... Shigure-san..." Tohru looked at him. "You wouldn't be avoiding another deadline, would you?"

The man's eyes widened and he laughed loudly, scratching the back of his head. "Huh?! Me? I'd never."

"I knew it." Yuki and Kyo muttered in unison, glaring at each other briefly after.

"More importantly... what are you doing here?" Shigure looked over the group. "Shouldn't you be in school?"

"There was a freak explosion in one of the bathrooms and they cancelled school until they investigate the cause and do a safety inspection on the building." Yuki replied.

"Explosion?" Shigure's expression shifted to serious for a moment. "Well, that's strange but it can't be helped. I suspect someone was just playing a prank. I remember how rowdy Aya and I were in our youth."

Shigure blinked, quieting at Yuki's hard stare at the name. "Heh..." He scratched his head again, averting his eyes. "What a scary look!"

Turning back to the group, his eyes fell on Arisa and Hanajima.
