"Here. I hope you like it." Tohru smiled and set a cup of tea in front of Aki.
"Thanks." Aki nodded slightly, then took a small sip. "It's good!"
"I'm glad." Tohru tilted her head slightly and Aki brought the cup back to her lips, drinking the entire glass in one gulp.
"Ah... that hits the spot." Aki sighed slightly and shut her eyes. I guess it's been days since I last had anything to drink. I'm still so thirsty, though, but I don't want to sound greedy.
She opened her eyes and saw four sets of eyes resting on her, and she sighed softly. "Obviously you have questions. And you deserve answers."
"An explanation would be nice as to why you dragged blood through my house." Shigure nodded slightly and Hatori let out a short breath.
"Must you always do that?"
"Hm? Do what?" Shigure chuckled. "It's a legitimate concern."
"Um... If you feel well enough to talk, then I suppose I want to know why you're here, too." Tohru met her eyes.
Aki nodded and lowered her eyes for a moment. "You saw me. Before, I mean."
Tohru nodded. "I don't really understand what happened... or how you disappeared. But I do know that you were hurt, so I was worried."
She really is inhumanly compassionate.
"Oh! I'm being rude!" Tohru bowed her head slightly. "I'm Tohru Honda. It's very nice to meet you."
This seems impossible, but it's really happening.
Aki smiled at her, crinkling her eyes as she did. "My name's Aki. It's very nice to meet you, too."
After all, you're pretty much my favorite character out of almost any series.
"What a pretty name." Tohru complimented.
Introductions aren't really necessary for me, but it would be polite for me to listen to theirs anyway.
She bit her lip.
Although, with the Ghouls out there, we really don't have time for that.
"And this is—"
Aki held up a hand to cut her off. "Thank you, but it's not necessary."
"Huh?" Tohru stopped and looked at her.
"Yuki Sohma. Shigure Sohma. Hatori Sohma." Aki pointed to each of them. "And the one sitting outside pretending to be disinterested in Kyo Sohma."
Their eyes widened slightly and Kyo jumped at his name, throwing up the sliding door to stare at her.
"How do you know my name?!"
"U-Um..."
"And, how is it you know who we are?" Shigure leaned slightly toward her, his eyes flashing with curiousity.
"I'm just going to do this quick like ripping off a bandaid." Aki muttered, set down her empty cup, and sighed again. She looked up at them. "Because I'm a Witch."
A long, awkward silence fell between them and they stared unblinkingly at her. Then, Shigure broke into loud laughter, slapping his hand against the table.
"A Witch! That's a good one! As if we'd ever believe—"
Aki pointed a finger at him, freezing him in place instantly as their eyes widened again. A light dusting of frost covered his skin and she exhaled, removing the spell and he remained perfectly still, staring at her, completely speechless.
