I woke up with a loud barking sound. Gosh, please let me sleep. Why would Sawyer bark so loudly. Wait, humans don't bark.
I stood up and just then a dog came bursting to my door and jumped on me.
"Bolt!" He's my big 5 year old Golden Retriever. Yeah, I named him after the dog Bolt on Disney. He may not look like him, but he sure runs like Bolt.
"Bolt! Here boy" Sawyer came crawling up the stairs while carrying Bolt's toy bone. He immediately returned to composure when he saw me.
"I'm sorry for letting him go maam. Your brother was suppose to call and surprise you, but there he is" He's extending his arms and let the bone go. Bolt went off me and went to get his bone.
"My brother is so nice. When did he get here?" I asked him as Bolt climbed on my bed and played with his toy.
"He came from one of the mission helicopters. Guess he was to eager to get here. I'll go down and get your beakfast maam. The usual?" This is why we get to keep Sawyer, he's so cute even though he's in his thirtys.
"That's okay, I'll go and walk Bolt for a bit and go to get some breakfast in the nearest food chain here" Sawyer bowed and left us.
"Now baby, stay here while I take a bath and let's go running. Sounds good?" He barked like he understood me. I stood up and had a shower. While I was drying my hair my phone suddenly rang. It was an unknown number. We don't usually take phonecalls like this back in our spy days, but now that I changed my number eversince I got here I guess it's safe.
"Hello? Who's this?
"Ouch! You didn't save my number. That hurts" I rolled my eyes, it's Clyde.
"What do you want Clyde?" He laughed on the other line. It's early and he's annoying already. I have to get used to this.
"So you up for Cosmos later?" I pursed my lips. Crap, I forgot to tell Sawyer about that.
"Yeah, I guess so." It's not bad I guess. I've heard this school was one of the best.
"Nice! Shall I pick you up? Oh wait, I don't know your address." He laughed.
"Don't pick me up. Where shall we meet?"
"Sounds too formal. There's this place called J's Tavern. Let's meet there. Bring some requirements." I nodded to myself.
"That place is't illegal right?" He laughed out loud I had to put my phone away.
"Of course! You're so funny you know that? I'll meet you at 9. Bye Xandra."
"Call me Xander. See you later"
"But that's a boy's--" I hang up when he was about to say something. I know Xander sounds lke a boy's name, but I feel like Xandra sounds to girly. That's not me.
I brushed my teeh and put my shoes on. Now, time to get Bolt.
"Oh yeah, Sawyer?" He emerged from the kitchen carrying hot cakes. Wow, so gay.
"I found a university where I would like to continue my schooling. Do you have my forms from my old school?" He nodded and went to his room to get his briefcase.
