Chapter 6 - Black and White

I decided to go around the streets of Manila. School is 3 days away so I went to visit some stores and bought new clothes. Thanks to my brother, HPG seems to be in shape. I just wished that I was there with them.

HPG is known as a security system company. It was never revealed that people work undercover in it. It was known to be selling the best security systems to big companies. My brother told me that our father was an electronic engineer and our mother is a civil engineer. I never really knew my parents because they died when I was only 3. My brother said that it was a car accident. That's all that he told me about.

I went inside one of the store for I saw an awesome hoodie. I better buy one of these. They look awesome.

"Excuse me miss?" I turned around to the girl behind me and smiled.

"Yes?" She smiled at me and extended her arm towards me.

"My name's Pamela, you're very pretty" I shook her hand and looked at her in wonder. 

"Uhmm, thanks?" I answered her awkwardly and she laughed.

"I'm a talent scout and I was wondering if you are interested in joining our agency?" I stared at her and pointed to myself. She giggled and nodded. No way! I don't want to be a celebrity. That isn't me.

"I'm sorry, but I'm not really into those things." I smiled at her and bowed.

"Oh, that's too bad. Thank you for your time" She smiled again and left. It will be really funny if I became a celebrity. They would refer to me as the boyish girl next door or something.

I paid for the hoodie and went out of the store. There's really nothing much to do here. Might as well go home and watch a movie. 

I walked slowly to my car when suddenly someone grabbed my bag and ran. That sh**! 

"Hey! Give me my bag back!" I start to run after him. Man, this guy is fast. The people around me start to look like I;m an idiot for running like I'm having a marathon.

I will never catch him at this crowd. I started to look around and saw cars aligned in the corner. That's it! I ran over and climbed to the cars roof and started chasing after him. I immediately caught him and tackled him down. The snatcher screamed in pain when I stepped on his back and twisted his arm behind him. I pulled out my handkerchief and wrapped them on his arms.

The people around me started to clap and I showed them my embarassed smile.

"Anong problema dito?" Wow, now the guards show up? How slow of them.

"Sir, this guy was snatching my bag. Take care of him. I know that it's your job to protect people here. I hope you do your job well." The guards looked at me with wide eyes. I smiled at them and picked my bag and swung it over my shoulder.

I went back to my car and drove home. I went to my room and pulled my laptop out. I was about to watch Divergent when there was an incoming skype video call. It was from Carly!
