It all started on the first day of senior year. That was when the countdown clock started on my mental breakdown and it was all because of curly hair, green eyes, and deep dimples.
Now let me explain, I didn't plan on any of this happening and at fi...

[A/N: Updated ending for this chapter. I want everything to be perfect and one of the future chapters was coming out kinda wonky, so I had to go back and fix this one. I hope you guys enjoy]
"Well that explains why I didn't have to put the passcode in to get into the studio this morning," Someone chuckled, nudging me gently in the ribs. I groaned, swatting at the nuisance; I had been sleeping so well. Besides, my alarm hadn't gone off yet so I definitely had more time to rest before school started.
It was then, I realized that I was not at home like I had thought. Panic hit me in the gut as I lurched up, immediately regretting it as the sun hit me directly in the eyes while my back cracked from laying on the unforgiving surface of the hardwood. I groaned at the pain in the back of my neck and spine, wishing I had just gone home after I was done dancing.
"Morning sunshine," Evan greeted, crouching down to meet me at eye level. I squinted at him as I rubbed the sleep out of my eyes. "You want to tell me what you're doing here?"
"I came to blow off some steam," I replied, my voice rough from just waking up. "I meant to go home after but I guess I fell asleep."
"Cleary. When I walked in this morning I thought I had forgotten to lock up. For a second I was worried someone might have broken in but nothing was broken or stolen. Now I can see that someone did break in. Thankfully all they wanted was a nap," He joked, straightening out and offering his hand to help me up. I gratefully took it.
"What time is it?" I asked.
"I'm not sure you want to know."
My heart dropped. I knew I had woken up late since the sun was shining, but now I was wondering how late. How many classes did I miss? How much trouble was I going to be in?
I ran over to the speakers and unplugged my phone. The music had stopped playing hours ago, but my battery was still sapped. With ten percent left, a dozen messages and almost a hundred missed calls, I had just enough to catch a glance at the time: 11:30. I had missed practically the entire school day. I was going to be in so much trouble.
"If I had known you were in here, I would have come to wake you up. The only reason I even came in was to get a couple of minutes of alone time before my next class. Imagine my surprise when I saw you laying in the middle of the floor looking like an absolute mess."
I glared at him, "I'm going to go shower and pray that I have some normal clothes lying around so I can at least make it to my last class in time."
"Leave your leggings outside of the bathroom and I'll toss them in the dryer with a dryer sheet so they smell good. I'll look around to see if there's an extra shirt for you to use."
We moved quickly; I didn't even wash my hair while I took a shower, just focusing on making sure I didn't stink since I had fallen asleep before washing off. After ten minutes, I hopped out and attempted to dry myself off so that I would be able to tug on my leggings. Thankfully I had an extra pair of underwear in my dance bag, though I was disappointed that I hadn't remembered to pack a shirt.
