I rushed to school and made it in before the bell rang for assembly. I hated Wednesdays.

I sat in the hall, next to Stephanie.

"Hey, Harlow! Where were you yesterday after school?"

"It's a long story." I spoke, relieved that Flora didn't tell her before I did. She would've made things up.

Why was I out of breath?

Then, the vice-principal spoke.

I leaned forward, resting my elbow on my thigh and my chin on the palm of my hand. School has just started and I'm already tired.

"Well, ladies and gentlemen. Something out of the ordinary happened and we would like to announce it. The Netball trophy is missing."

Her voice was interrupted by huffing and protesting by angry students.

I looked around, feeling a bit guilty. But why was I guilty? I didn't even steal it.

But it did have my finger print on it.

Now I'm scared.

"The person who stole the trophy has to be someone in this school. We will solve the problem and find the culprit immediately."

My body was shaking like crazy.

Another announcement was heard by the speakers behind.

"Can Harlow Sanad come to the head principal's office, now."

All eyes turned around to me. Some were giving me a questionable look, half of the students looked at me with anger. They thought I stole the trophy.

I looked at Stephanie while standing up and she gave me a confused look.

I packed my things and made my way out of the assembly hall, feeling quite self conscious with everyone staring at me.

I finally made my way to the head principal's office and knocked on the door softly.

I was scared for what was going to happen next. Am I in trouble.

"You stole the trophy and you were planning to get away with it?"

I looked at the head principal. I was shocked.

"But I didn't do it, Ms."

"Oh yes, you did. We found the trophy in your locker."

In my locker? But I didn't put it there. Who knows my locker numb-

It's Flora.

"That wasn't me. It must have been someone else." I said, in a shrilled voice.

"Then, How did someone know your locker number?"

"I don't know but it wasn't me!" I shouted. I was beyond scared now.

"Why would you tell your locker number to someone else, Harlow? I'm just really confused to why you would do such a thing. There's no one to blame here but you."

She isn't even listening to me. What is the point of her asking questions then?

I was about to speak but she stopped me. Again.

"I don't want to hear it, Harlow. I am really disappointed in you. I've already told your parents. Go home for today and come back tomorrow with the right mindset. We will deal with you tomorrow." She held the receiver near her ear to make a call and waved me to get out of her office.

Case closed. She doesn't want to hear my side of the story. Someone framed me and I know who it is.

I needed to confront Flora tomorrow, as soon as possible.

I was about to leave the school when I saw Stephanie.

"HEY STEPH!"

She looked at me and walked off.

What? That's weird.

I looked the other way and there was Flora. Linking hands with Stephanie. My best friend! She didn't even like Stephanie!

One of the students here, Seth, walked past me and elbowed me on the shoulder.

"Watch out, you stealer!"

I was so angry that I just didn't want to be here anymore, so I turned my back and walked off. Out of prison like school.

I hated everyone, Including Flora.

Hopefully, my parents believe me. They are my parents, after all.

Deep down, I know it will not turn out great.
