4- over the genius

yoongi sat on his bed and watched as the room emptied out , jin first then jungkook then hoseok  , jimin and taehyung and now it was just him and namjoon. the younger didn't have any classes and yoongi still didn't have his schedule as it was only his third day.

"can you show me around ?" yoongi asked , hoping that he would be able to leave the room. namjoon looked over to him and smiled , not uttering a word but getting off of his bed. yoongi stood up , smoothing out his pajamas pants as he got up and followed namjoon outside of the dorm room.

yoongi and namjoon walked around the entire main school. namjoon showing the elder the libraries , the classrooms , the court yards everything . to say yoongi was amazed would be an understatement. there were so many humans like him, more than he had thought actually existed.

in daegu he had only known of one  other mutant besides him . and that mutant had been killed once her family found out that she was one. but here they roamed freely , like normal people some even looked foreign.

" woah this is amazing." yoongi breathed out as he let his fingers graze over the marble pillars to the stairs.

" yeah. despite holding us kinda captive , its pretty amazing." namjoon agreed , failing to see how yoongi's expression darkened once he remembered he was here by force , not by choice. which prompted the shorter to ask his next question.

" how did you end up here?"

namjoon turned to face yoongi.

" we came here to protect our family." was all namjoon said. yoongi looked and watched as the boy walked off in another direction ,following closely behind.

" we?" yoongi asked. who else had namjoon come with? was he not alone?

" taehyung and I."namjoon's voice was flat and void of any emotions as the two made their way down an empty corridor. yoongi nodded to himself as his question had been answered and continued to followed the taller through the hall. yoongi still had a few days left before they would turn down the voltage on his limiter and he would be allowed to use his abilities , for now he just had to wait.

Eventually the two had come to the end of the corridor.  namjoon taking a seat against one of the walls, patting the space besides him ,signaling for the elder to sit. yoongi complied taking a seat next to namjoon. The two sat there in a slightly comfortable silence , out of sight , out of mind.

the silence didn't last long though. the sound of the corridor opening from down the hall prompted namjoon to quickly stand up, grabbing yoongi's hand and dragging him into the closet right beside them.

'say nothing , someone is outside'   namjoon's voice rang through yoongi's head as they stood in silence listening to the voice outside.

"their ability's get stronger by the minute." a female voiced seethed out

" that whole dorm is dangerous." a male voice followed, concern dripping from his tone. yoongi looked up at namjoon . both males mirroring the same confused expression as they continued to listen.

" what about the new boy ? how is his ability?" the lady asked, voice barley above a whisper.

"0309 ? he hasn't had his check up yet,-"

"well later on today call him up and give him one"

"and if there is an ability spike?"

" turn down his voltage . remember we're grooming the-" the lady's voice suddenly cut off once she heard the buzz of a collar. namjoon slightly jumped back, only just realizing he had been using his this entire time.
