Jaemin returned from his date with Renjun (or at least that's what he was calling it) to a quiet house. It was strange to not be pounced on by Jeno's familiar warm body. Where was he anyway?
Jaemin slid his coat off his shoulders and carefully climbed the stairs to his room. The light by his desk was on but no one was sitting in the chair. Jaemin assumed that Jeno fell asleep. The boy spent more time asleep than awake, honestly, but his bed was empty.
"Jeno?" he called. No answer. Jaemin searched nearly every room of the house with the exception of his mother's locked door. "Oh my God, did he find out about Renjun?"
Jaemin rushed back upstairs to grab his keys and his wallet when he saw his notebook sprawled on his desk. His pens were scattered across the floor, and he wondered how he didn't step on them earlier. A question was scrawled messily across the page that Jaemin had planned on using for Renjun.
Jaemin, am I losing you?
