Later that night...

Later that night Isabella found herself out having a few drinks gulping them all down as if they were water. Her friends had invited her out to dinner tonight since her daughters would be spending the night with Davon's parents and heading to school from their house in the morning. She had the night all to herself and she thought she could handle it. She planned to order a pizza, have a glass of wine, and watch a few movies but plans had changed. She felt paranoid sitting in that big house alone at night. The vibe she got was one that she didn't like. She missed her husband. No matter how at "peace" she was starting to be with losing him it never stopped her from wishing he was around. Missing him made her emotional. Being emotional made her head out to cope with those emotions with drinking. A stray tear rolled down her cheek and she quickly wiped it away as she stared at the empty glasses in front of her.
She took the locket around her neck off and opened it staring at the photo of him. She brought it to her red lipstick covered lips and kissed it holding that kiss for a few seconds. Closing the locket back holding it against her chest she closed her eyes. She tuned out all the noise around her and saw flashes of different memories with him. The arguments. The breakups. The good times. She'd give anything to have all of those moments back. Even the bad times.
"I hate you so fucking much for leaving me." She whispered clutching the locket.
Appearing from a dark corner of the room Davon walked towards her table.
"Baby what are you doing?" He questioned looking at the empty glasses remembering that his wife had never been a heavy drinker. He took a seat in the chair across from her knowing that she couldn't see or hear him.
"I miss you so so much." She sniffled.
"I'm here baby. I'm right here." He placed his hand on top of hers and Bella pulled her hand back not knowing what that was. She felt as if she'd had too many drinks and nothing was making sense to her because of the alcohol. "You know I'd give anything in the world to see you happy baby. You know that. I'm so sorry this shit happened. I'm sorry for it all from the bottom of my heart but what's this?" He shook his head at the glasses. "This ain't you. This shit is breaking my heart seeing you like this Isabella. Get yourself together man. I love ya crazy ass so much."
Seeing another tear roll down her cheek as she wrapped her arms around herself debating on getting another drink he reached across the table and wiped her tear away with his thumb. Isabella jumped as she gasped. She quickly stood up from the table earning a few stares from people sitting close to her.
"Are you okay?" A man asked placing his hand on Isabella's shoulder making her turn around. Davon raised an eyebrow looking the man up and down. Isabella did the same thing. The man took a step back putting his hands up. "I'm sorry to be all up on you like this but I couldn't help but notice that you were going through something."
"And why would you assume that?" Isabella folded her arms.
Davon had gone from sitting in the chair to appearing right next to his wife folding his arms looking down at the man with a disgusted look on his face. If the man was running game then to him it was weak and he needed to move the fuck around out of her face.
"You were crying love."
"Yeah well that's my business and I'm fine. If you don't mind I'd really just like for you to walk away. You're sort of in my space and I'm uncomfortable so...." Isabella told the man by the name of Drew.
"Oh shit. Well my bad then. Let me walk my ass on off miss lady." Drew said looking shocked but he lowkey liked the attitude she was giving him.
"Yeah nigga. Do that." Davon stepped closer to him hovering over Drew who wasn't that much shorter than him. Davon stood at 6'4 while Drew stood at 6'1. "Fuck up out my woman face." He clenched his jaw. When it came to his woman when he was alive he never tolerated men speaking to or pushing up on her. When they saw him they always backed up off of her and didn't bother trying him. He could be the jealous type which sort of played a role in some of those breaks they took before deciding to get married.
"Yeah....do that." Isabella said sounding like Davon. He looked at her and laughed because she used to hate when he said that. Now she was standing here sounding just like him dismissing somebody.
Drew didn't bother saying another word to her although he wouldn't give up on maybe getting her number. It probably wouldn't be tonight but whatever had her out drinking tonight would definitely bring her back. As he was about to walk off Davon stuck his foot out making Drew trip. He'd almost fallen on the floor but he'd caught himself.
"Sucka ass nigga." Davon said before disappearing and reappearing over at the bar sitting in a bar chair. The bar chair that was right next to Drew's. As Drew made his way over and sat down Davon studied the side of his face clenching his jaw. He wrapped his hands around Drew's neck and squeezed making his eyes widen as he struggled to breathe not knowing what was going on. People looked in his direction and were just as confused as him. He could feel something or someone choking the life out of him but he didn't know if he'd had too many drinks or what.
People gasped and as some started to get up to actually come help him Davon let him go and disappeared leaving the place. He could've killed Drew but that wasn't his intention tonight. He just wanted to scare him and he'd been successful.
