Isabella walked into the Spanish dance club looking around to see if she could spot her date Miguel who she'd agreed to meet tonight. The guy Marcellus she'd been on two dates with wanted to take her out again tonight but she didn't want to keep seeing him when she had other options to explore. She wasn't trying to get involved in anything serious. She was just trying to make some male friends who'd get her out of the house every now and then that she could go bowling or to a movie with. Have dinner with. Someone she could laugh, joke, and be herself with. After beating up Tori last night her and the girls had fled the scene because a nosy bystander had called the police. She hated how she'd gotten out of character in front of her children and she was even going to let fighting Tori go until she mentioned Davon. It was if she was asking to get her ass whooped.
She wanted to forget about yesterday and get out on the town. One thing her and Miguel had agreed on while getting to know each other online was that they both loved Spanish music and to dance. They'd decided to meet up at this new Spanish place where you could have a meal and get out on the floor and dance as Spanish artists came to perform. She was nervous but she couldn't wait to see him face to face in person. They'd spoken on FaceTime before to make sure neither of them were a catfish. She walked further in passing some people trying to spot him out.
When she finally saw him she stopped in her tracks seeing a woman sitting on his lap.
At first it looked like he was trying to get her off of him but when she saw the woman wrap her arms around him and kiss him passionately she placed her hand on her chest.
Why? Why did men she were into or trying to get to know always doing her wrong? Why would he ask her to come out only for him to be tonguing another woman down. Walking in seeing this reminded her of how she'd walked in on Davon admitting to cheating. She was always walking in at the wrong time. It was if she was cursed or something because when she'd be happy she'd be torn down and hurt. She turned away deciding it would be best to leave.
There was absolutely no way she'd go confront a man that wasn't hers. She decided that she'd just go home and block his number and block him from her page. He obviously wasn't the man he'd portrayed himself to be but then again online you could pretend to be anyone.
Turning back around she clenched her jaw and decided she wasn't about to let him get off that easily. She barged towards him and grabbed a customer's wine glass off of the table next to him. Him and his ex broke the kiss and looked at her. Miguel stared at her with wide eyes completely in shock that he'd been caught when he knew she was coming.
"Go to hell." She dashed the drink on him and the woman not giving a fuck. She was going to walk away untouched but if the woman felt disrespected and wanted to get up and do something she'd gladly whoop her ass.
"You stupid bitch." The woman stood up placing her hand on Isabella's shoulder. Isabella spun around clenching her jaw and punched her in the nose sending her right over the table as customers gasped and the Spanish music stopped playing.
"The fuck are you muthafuckas looking at?!" Isabella yelled looking around the room as she walked off switching from side to side exiting the building.
Normally she'd call her friends and tell them how a date had gone but she was too embarrassed to call them and tell them about this one. If they asked her about it she'd just say that the nigga was weird and she got up and left him sitting there. It was a lie but they didn't need to know every detail of her life. She decided to head straight home and run a bath and curl up in bed with ice cream. She'd gotten more comfortable being home alone. She used to have break downs and couldn't stand to be in the house she once called a home with her husband but she was doing better. Not only for herself but for her girls.
She locked the front door and dropped her car and house keys on the coffee table before heading up the stairs to her room. She exhaled turning on the red light she'd just put in today thinking that it made her room a little more sexy.
"Stupid ass niggas. I swear they ain't shit. A bunch of stupid muthafuckas." She mumbled going through her dresser drawers to find something to put on.
"Is that right mama?" A familiar voice said and she slowly turned around to be faced with him smoking staring at her intently.
"D-Davon?" Her eyes watered as she blinked slowly.
"Hi baby." He slowly stepped towards her caressing her cheek sending chills down her spine.
