Chapter 15 - Homely..

*Your POV*

I told mark to make himself at home whilst I grabbed some snacks that I put out for us,
"Mark, what drink would you like?" I ask,
"I don't mind" He says,
So I pull out two cans of coke and bring them to the coffee table,
"So what do you want to do?" I asked him with a smile,
"Umm... how about a horror movie session?" He suggests,
Oh great.... I hate horror movies....
"Oh ok, sure...." I said with unease,
"Cool!" He smiled,
I got up and pulled out some of the horror movies I had stored away,
"The grudge" he picked,
Nooo....
"Ok sure, just give me a sec" I told him as I put the movie in the DVD player,
I really hated this one... anyway I checked on the food before I sat down to watch the movie.
It was quarter of the way through when the buzzer went off telling me the foods ready,
"Oh.. ok lunch is ready" I told mark as we got up,
"Hey where's you bathroom?" He asked,
"Down the hall" I said as I pulled plates out of the cupboard,
"Thanks back in sec"
"Ok"
It's been 5 mins and id finished serving up the meal and placed it on the table,
"Hey mark..?" I called,
No answer,
"Mark!" I shouted,
"What?"
"Oh I'd thought you got list in there or something.." I said,
"Hahaha no, sorry I got caught with a thought" he said as he came down the hall towards the table,
"That's looks and smells good"
"Hahaha, let's just hope it tastes just as good as it smells huh?" I laugh,
We both sit down and talk and eat,
Once we were down I cleaned up the dishes and sat back down to watch the rest of the movie.

*Marks POV*

I come in and sit down on her couch, as she grabs snacks to bring over she asks,

"Mark, what do you want to drink?"
"Doesn't matter" I say,

So she brings over two cans of coke and places them on the table in front of me,

"What do you want to do?" She asks,
"How about a horror movie session?" I suggest,

"Oh ok... sure...." she said with an uneasy look on her face,
What doesn't she like horror movies?

She pulls out a few horror movies that she stored away,

I decided to pick,
"The grudge"

"Oh ok.... sure just give me a sec" she said as she put the disc in the DVD player, then she got up and checked on the food, then came back and sat down to watch the movie.

The buzzer went off just alittle after the movie started and out of the corner of my eye I saw [Y/N] jump just a little,

"Oh... lunch is ready" she said as she got up to get the food,

"Hey, where's your bathroom?" I asked,

"Oh um down the hall" she said as I walked down the hall and found a sign the said 'bathroom' on it.

I entered and did what I had to and washed my hands,

"Hmmm, I didn't know she was jumpy with horror stuff... haha I should scare her just for fun.." I kept saying,
And just like that I came up with a scare,

"Ark..." I heard as I snapped back to reality,
"Mark!" I heard [Y/N] shout,
"What.." I said,
"Oh I thought you might've got lost in there or something...haha" she said,

I couldn't help but laugh at her silliness,
" Hahaha sorry I got caught up with a thought" I said as I walked back down the hall towards the table,

[Y/N] hustled finished playing it on the table,
"That looks and smells good" I said,
"Hahaha lets just hope it tastes as good as it looks huh?" she laughed,
We talked and ate and when we finished she cleaned up and sat back down to watch the rest of the movie.

I wish things could like this everyday it feels.... homely.
