A couple of weeks later...

"Hey, hun. Have you heard from Mark or Murphy lately?" I ask Elijah as he puts Aria's diaper bag together.

"Not since your dad's wedding, why?" He asks opening the fridge and grabbing some breast milk and putting it in a lunch box.

"Something is off about them. They seemed distant at the wedding," I say checking the baby monitor.

"Well, how about you stop by after we drop off Aria with Mom. You have an appointment at 1 this afternoon and I have to deal with some business stuff. I'll pick you up before you need to be at the appointment." I nod my head. He grabs the filled diaper bag and gives me a kiss on the temple. He puts it by the door and goes upstairs to the nursery and comes back with Aria. She is still asleep and he straps her into her seat. How did I get so lucky with him?

Anyways, I gather all my work stuff and we drop Aria off with Ava and Shawn. After that, Elijah drops me off at Murphy and Mark's. I give him a quick kiss and exit the car. I watch him drive away and I go and ring the doorbell. Murphy answers the door in tears.

Yep, something is off. She quickly wipes her eyes.

"Willow, what are you doing here?" She asks.

"I wanted to check up on you. We haven't heard from you for a while." She lets me in and I walk into her living room.

"I'm fine, you didn't need to check up on me," she says closing the door.

"Murphy, you aren't fine. You answered the door in tears." She looks at me and tears start to fall again. Her hand covers her mouth trying to cover up her pain. I rush over and I pull her into a hug.

"What is happening, Murphy?" I ask. She doesn't even answer my question, she just cries harder into my chest. Once her cries slow, she pulls away and wipes her face.

"I'm not supposed to tell you," she whispers.

"Why?" I ask.

"Because Mark and I both agreed that we wouldn't tell anyone about this."

"I don't care what you agreed on. You are my best friend and something is wrong and I want to help you."

"Okay, I'll tell you."
