Chapter 4

Mulan POV

"What's up?" Elsa asks, sitting next to me. We're all out of school and Kristoff's already texted Anna to tell her that we're meeting at six, and it's about five right now.

Glancing over to her, I talk slowly, unsure of my words, "Well, this feels sort of off, doesn't it? I mean, a group date? Why are they saying that when Anna's the only one actually thinking about this as a date, I'm just coming along because she begged me."

Elsa's brow furrows, and she replies just as slowly, very obviously thinking, "You're right. The white haired one- Jack- was pestering me yesterday. It's like they have some- some end goal that they're trying to reach. We'll have to keep our eyes open. I'm not risking Anna getting hurt just for some date."

I nod in agreement, "Typical suit-up, then? Or the one that my dad likes us to use whenever we leave after sunset?"

"The one your dad likes. I don't trust these boys."

Anna POV

"Please!!!!!"

"No."

"Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeee!!!!!"

"No!"

I sigh. Mulan and Belle both refuse to dress nice, even though I managed to dig up nicer dresses for them both from their own closets.

"It'll be so cute though! I mean, it's a date!"

"No." They say in unison, Mulan gnawing at her cheek, though, like her minds on something. I sigh and push that thought aside so that I can focus at the challenging task at hand. Belle looks nicer than Mulan at least and her nose is out of her books. Even though she's wearing a checkered blue button up shirt, capris and carrying a purse that I know has a book in it. Mulan's just wearing jeans and a band tee with black converse. I got Elsa to dress up though so anythings possible.

"Pleaseeeee! It'll look soooo cute!" I say, holding out a pink, blue and red dress. She glares at me, shaking her head and I sigh, turning to Belle and holding out a yellow dress with off the shoulder sleeves. I make puppy eyes.

She sighs and takes it and I squeal until she starts talking, "Shouldn't you be getting ready too, Anna? We all know that Mulan's a lost cause." I look down and am still in my pajamas. With a loud shriek-squeal, I bolt into the bathroom and put my hair in a pair of braids with ribbons woven through and on the ends and struggle into a knee length dress with a black bodice and flowered green skirt.

I hop out struggling to put on my shoes and get to Elsa's car, which we are all taking. Rapunzel got Elsa to wear a pretty teal and black dress, but she brought a purple coat. Rapunzel wore a pink and purple dress that I love and Belle wore the yellow one. Mulan's still being stubborn, though and wearing jeans and a tee shirt, along with taking forever to get to the car.

Elsa POV

"Come on!" Anna said, bouncing in her seat. I hold in my laugh and smiled. She's never going to change.

Mulan is the last in, and I don't blame her. If not for Anna, I wouldn't be going at all. I start driving to the tune of all of them talking at once, but shut it out. Mulan's words are still stuck in my head, and my my own thoughts are joining them. Why did Kristoff ask Anna to meet all of us? Why not just her? This better not be some sort of stupid trick. If he hurts her in any way he is dead. Not dead-dead, but in a whole lot of trouble. At least.

I pull into the parking lot, and Mulan and I are the last out, and we exchange a quick glance. She pats both her shins, her hips and taps her ankles together. I tap the insides of both my wrists, and she nods, doing the same. We're showing one another our weapons, just in case.

We usually do this, but today it's even more so. Usually we just go out with maybe a can of pepper spray and a pen knife, but I do not trust these boys. Something is definitely off, so Mulan and I've both strapped on quite a few weapons, but I also have one of my own. It's not under my control completely, but I've got enough of a handle on it to not kill my friends and sister.

"I don't like this," she says, "Belle told me that the one guy, Flynn, flirted with her yesterday, but she didn't think that he meant to do it; she said it felt like he just flirted accidentally, like he had other goals. Shang was watching me at practice and came over after to make sure of this too. Then there's you and Jack. Something doesn't feel right."

I bite my lip, thinking again, "I don't like this either, I'm sure that something isn't right. Something definitely doesn't feel right.

"Be on guard. These boys can't be trusted, not yet at least." She says, voice solid but also a bit uncertain. I smile at her, a solid and confident one, pasting on a smaller one, however, before we go to sit with everyone else. I sit at the edge, wanting to observe rather than participate.

"Hey snow queen." Jack says and I look over to nod at him. I'm determined this time.

They all sit down across from us, and look really... Nervous. I wonder why.

"We wanted to, well, uh..." Jack started, before looking at who I assume is Shang, since he's wearing a letter man's jacket.

"We need you to help us." He says simply.

"Help you?" I say in slight surprise. I'd expected something unrelated to a date, but help them? What with? The girls glance at me, nervous and obviously confused. Anna looks the most so, her face crestfallen. I reach over and squeeze her knee under the table, smiling at her reassuringly.

I move closer to Anna and watch them, suspicious.

Jack rubs the back of his neck, slowly starting to talk, "We need your help because, er..."

Jack POV

How do we ask for their help? Their parents have to have told them something, and it's not like we haven't been on the news. Heck, we were on it just yesterday, and it looks like they're trying to make us seem like terrorists, now. Completely insane, at first we were just trying to have some fun, screw around and mess stuff up. Now, though, it's this whole big thing. With Phobia, damn woman, and what we found out about them.

"We are the Brothers Moon" Adam says in a quiet voice and I turn to gape at him, this cannot be the right way to tell them our secret and ask for their help, "and we really need your help. Really need it. Your parents won't help us but we are hoping that you will."

They all gape at him, and so do we, Anna even going so far as to fall out of her chair. But then the girl in yellow nods, and I notice both Flynn and Adam staring at her.

"We'll help you." She says.

AN: Thanks for reading, do all the stuff that people usually say and also I do not have anything more to say. Wait, no, I do. This is just a warning, there won't be to much kristanna. Not my favorite ship, so sorry if you like it a lot! But still, enjoy. Also, sorry bout all the time skips! I don't have much patience.

Updated AN: Woah. I made this way longer, it feels like. Huh. I kinda want to edit it again, though. Vote, comment and follow if you wish!
