Chapter 21

AN: quick apologies for chapter 20 being short chapter(technically), I just felt that it was good enough as it was. It was a filler, mostly to establish their caring for one another.

Chapter 21

Harry POV

"Hey," I say, turning to Anna and taking both of her hands in mine. I keep my mind clear, and allow a smile to blossom across my face, "I wondered if maybe you wanted to meet my parents? Well, my adoptive parents, but-" she gave me a quick kiss, and I smiled. I took it as a cue to shut up as well.

"I'd love that." She said earnestly, and I wrapped an arm around her waist, pulling her close.

Anna POV

I smile at Harry. He's just... Perfect. Absolutely perfect. I lean into him, and we leave school. It may be last minute, but I think that it'll be worth it. I should call Elsa, but she'd just worry. Then my thoughts flash to Kristoff. Maybe... Maybe I should call her. I start to reach for my phone, but Harry opens his car door with a sweeping bow.

I giggle softly.

Well, a few minutes never hurt anyone.

I get in the car, and he shuts the door. The locks click, and I watch him through the window quizzically. He's smiling, and I don't worry yet. Then a truck approaches. My eyes widen, and I freak. Completely. Elsa and Jack come out of the school, holding hands and laughing. I bang on the car door, smashing my fists into it. The window spiderwebs when I hit it once, and I tap it again. It shatters. I scramble out and bolt towards Elsa.

"Elsa! Harry! He tried-" I scream, voice choked.

I don't even have to finish for her to drop everything and hold out her hands. Her powers whirl before spiraling out to freeze his car. The thing falls, and I watch the truck drive away before running to Elsa, falling into her arms and sobbing.

Elsa POV

I don't look at Jack. I'm starting to care for him, ok, love him. I don't want to see him look at me like my parents do. With horror. That's why I don't mind their being gone. In fact, I love it when they're gone. I sit down with Anna, and he sits up, wiping at her eyes. Jack takes my arm, his hand firm and cold over my forearm. I start to pull away, but he turns me towards him. I look away.

"Elsa. Elsa." He says, "Look at me. Look at me! Please!" I look towards him, tears falling from my eyes. He pulls me into a hug, and whispers, "Let me show you my secret." I pull away, and there is no horror. Just love. I smile weakly. And he pulls me into his side. We go back to Anna, and she doesn't make any cracks about us. We just pile into my car and drive away, towards home.

We're met with everyone else, as in all of them. Jack then shouts at the top of his lungs, "SECRET SHARING TIME, AND WE'RE GOING FIRST!" We sat on the couches, well, all of us aside from Jack and Adam. Belle and Rapunzel both looked at me quizzically, but I shook my head. Mulan just stared dead ahead at them.

Jack stepped to the side, and Adam took a deep breath before talking.

"When I was a kid, I was greedy and selfish. I didn't care about anyone or anything. Just... myself. I've learnt to regret it, but first I was cursed. A sorceress asked for shelter, but was disguised. I told her no four times before she relented. But before she left, she cursed me to become a beast for exactly a year. No more, no less. I was a hideous creature, and I killed my own little sister," A tear fell from his eye.

"But I've learned. I'm no longer who I was, in every way. There are some... side effects. My anger and the night both affect it, but I can control the night. It doesn't trigger them anymore. But anger... I've got a shorter fuse than ever, and it isn't useful in keeping control." He finishes talking. It's very obvious that there's not going to be any kind of demonstration, so Jack steps forward. He had disappeared at some point and was carrying a curved stick.

A stick.

My mouth still fell open, though, as ice coated the ceiling and snow started to fall. I stood, and hugged him. That's why he doesn't think I'm a monster. He sees... me, doesn't he. How afraid I am. I can love him. I won't hurt him. I can't hurt him. I won't hurt him. I smile into his shoulder, and he slowly hugs me back, shocked. Then his attitude returns.

"There's my secret." He whispers, smiling.

I smile back, and then gesture for Rapunzel and Anna. Anna looks confused, but I force her up anyways. I can't believe I haven't seen it before. I start, not talking but demonstrating, like Jack. His snow is gone, and I freeze the floor, before melting it down, gathering it and thrusting it into the air in the form of a giant snowflake. It explodes, and small bits of snow float down. I smile. They stare, but then Flynn laughs.

"Looks like your ice queen really is an ice queen!" He says to Jack, roaring with laughter.

"Shut up, Eugene." He stops laughing and starts trying to strangle Jack. They wrestle, but Mulan pulls them apart.

"Quit it, idiots." She says, rolling her eyes.

Then Rapunzel sings, only a few lines of her song.

"Flower, gleam and glow.

Let your power shine." Her hair glows, and she talks, "I have magic hair that glows when I sing. It's why it's so long. I can't cut it." Then Anna butts in, shockingly.

"I dunno why I'm up here." She says, bouncing on the heels of her feet. I smile at her, small and mischievous.

"Shang, let Anna punch you at full strength in the arm." I say. He looks like he can take it. Anna still looks confused.

"I don't see what this is gonna do." She says, just as confused as Shang. I shoot her a 'just-do-it' look and she does. He goes flying into the wall and Anna stares at her hands.

"What the hell?" Shang shouts, rubbing his arm, "Your fricking strong!"

"I HAVE SUPERSTRENGTH!" Anna says, squealing. We all wince, and she laughs.

"And a super squeal." Kristoff murmurs, Anna sobering up, biting her lip. She sits down, and then softly talks.

"You were right, Kristoff. Harry was definitely up to something, he tried to kidnap me."

Everyone but Jack and I stare at her in shock.

"He's in kahoots with whoevers doing this. We need to find them and take them down. Seeing what all of you can do, and what we can do, I think that they won't stand a chance." Shang says, a smile crossing his face. I smile back. I can't agree more.

That bastard will die for hurting Anna.
