Chapter 5

Jack POV

"So. What do you so desperately need help with?" The snow queen asks. I just gape at her continuously. They didn't freak? Except for the strawberry blonde girl, who fell out of her chair, but they didn't freak out? I mean, Adam just spilled that we are basically their parents biggest enemies that are made out to look like terrorists.

I hesitate, but Adam kicks me under the table, "There are some- some people that have come back, from our parents past.

"What's that supposed to mean?" Mulan questions, gazing at me warily and suspiciously. She doesn't seem to trust us a whole lot, and Adam's admittance probably hasn't helped her view on us.

"It means that, well, our parents angered a lot of people. And your parents helped out our parents in some of the situations and now they're back. They've already come after us once, and it's only a matter of time until they go after you're families too," Shang explains, and I leave it up to him. Hopefully she trusts him more then the rest of us, at least. I mean, he is her team captain so that must count for something.

Flynn POV

I watch the girls like a hawk, both checking them out and making sure that they're not going to pull anything on us. I've got nothing compared to Jack and Adam, but I've got my own tricks as well. A glance around at the guys, and Adam's staring too, only at one girl in particular. Belle. I glance at her myself, remembering earlier. She's certainly a challenge, and pretty beautiful too. The fact is that they all are. Still watching them, I turn enough to get Jack in my peripheral vision and listen.

"So, you aren't gonna run?" He asks carefully, and I don't blame him. Mulan looks ready and willing to rip him limb from limb if anyone were to ask her to.

"No, but you have to tell us everything, and by everything I mean everything that you know, everything you think you know and everything that you've assumed." Elsa says, and Jack's eyes shoot straight to her, staring and full of infatuation as he slowly nods. I smirk a bit, more ammo to make fun of him, but my smirk fades quickly enough. Telling them everything- that's more then dangerous. That's completely and utterly stupid.

Elsa POV

"So? Start talking." I say, leaning back in my chair. They glance at one another, unsure, and the girls glance over at me. I smile reassuringly at them. If these boys really want our help, and need it so badly, then they can tell us why these people are so angry.

Jack starts, "My father was named Jackson Frost, I was named after him. He was in a branch of the army with a group of other people that also joined up with Mulan and Shang's fathers at some point to take down someone called M and Pitch Black. M, he had something going on with your parent's company, and they promised him weapons of some sort before selling him out, informing Mulan's dad who told the rest of them. So, they took him down. But they didn't kill him, he'd gone to prison which he's now broken out of.

"Then came Pitch, who was murdering people left and right, but he also had a major... secret. Just by touching you, he would find your worst fear and be able to form it and set it into action, attacking you. That's when my father truly came in. He killed Pitch Black in front of a little girl, maybe four years old, and a woman who was her mother. Pitch isn't back. It's the woman or the little girl, but if it's the woman then she hasn't changed a bit. They both also have some sort of grudge against your families company, but my father's journal didn't mention that because he died ten days after Pitch, around when I was born."

Jack smiles wryly and I look at him, into his eyes which are filled with so much sorrow and misery. I reach out and touch his hand and he continues to smile, "So, why do you think they hate our families?"
