Chapter 19

One day, two day and another day passed. Finally, it's the day of Taehyung and Joy's engagement.

Today, Jou wore a white dress, her hair was more curly than usual, and she put on some light makeup. She sat in the room looking at her self in the mirror, even though everyone compliment about how pretty she look but for some reason Joy finds herself ugly today, really ugly .

- Can i come in?
Irene's voice came from outside, startling Joy.

- Come in.

As soon as she finished, the door opened Irene with a pale pink skirt to the knee. Her voice was still so sweet and so soft:

- You are very pretty today!

- You coming here just to say that?

-Actually I have something for you .

Irene said and removed a necklace from her neck then she put it on Joy's neck:

- It a lucky necklace , I have worn it since I was little and I have never take it off . But I don't think I need this luck anymore, so ima give it to you!

Joy studied the face of the necklaces carefully, obviously she was happy inside but her words were still harsh :

- Who needs you to give me such cheap things? Plus the fact it already used.

- That necklace is the first birthday present that dad gave me!

- Why don't you keep it?

- Dad once told me that he give this to me hoping I would get a lot of lucks. But once the luck are all gone then I have to give this to somebody else's for them to have the next luck. I finally think that the luck until now had truly left me so now it your turn to have it

Joy said nothing and just silently listened to Irene's words.

- Because of that, the only person I can trust in giving luck to is you. You can't say no ok!

Seeing Joy still silent, Irene continued:

- Then I'm going to leave first

But when Irene had just taken a few steps, Joy spoke again and pulled her footsteps back:

- Do you like Taehyung?

This time it was Irene's turn to be silent, she still said nothing and went straight out. Whoever thought that the moment she left, she immediately met Taehyun and Jin at the door. Both smiled at her.

- I have something to tell you!

Seeing both Taehyung and Jin open their eyes to look at her like she was some type of strange objects, Irene said nothing and pulled Taehyung's hand in the opposite direction. And Jin who stood in front of the door waiting for the shadows of the two to disappear. Joy was still sitting there, but for some reason, looking at Joy's face right now it so pitiful that Jin could not help but smile:

- You are very beautiful today!

Jin raised a big grin, but still couldn't hide his sad mood.

- So you telling me that I look ugly every other days ?

Joy laughed as well, but the more she smiled, the more sad her face seemed.

- Want to know the truth?

- What truth?

- The truth about the love of the male and female lead!

Jin held out his hand in front of Joy, she hesitated for a moment before putting her hand on Jin's hand so that he pulled her out.

It was at the garden behind the engagement party. Jin and Joy were hiding behind a giant tree while in the middle of the garden was Irene and Taehyung. From this angle, Joy could see, and could hear both of their words clearly:

- I was never going to tell you about my feelings . But I think that you deserve to know even if you won't respond back to my feelings , I will still say that: I like you, I have always like you Taehyung, no actually I love you!

Both Jin and Joy saw the look Irene have for Taehyung, it was the most honest look ever. In those eyes, there was not a false ray in which simply existed the most pure and beautiful sentiments of the girl who fell in love for the first time. Seeing Taehyung still silent, Irene continued to say:

- You don't need to say it, I know you love Joy right? Do you know why I know you like Joy and still confessed? Not that I'm afraid I will get hurt, and not that I'm afraid if I keep this feeling forever, I will be very miserable later. The only thing I'm afraid of is that if I don't tell you now then I won't have the chance to confess it to you later, I'm afraid if I don't say it then I won't know how to face you later on .

That's why today I decided to confess to you for the first time and the last time . I just hope you will be happy with Joy!
Irene smiled softly, a bitter and bitter smile. Until now, Taehyung understood that this little girl had suffered so much pain and suffering. Does all the female protagonists in movies have to suffer like this?

But the person he loves is the villain, not the female lead , what should he do?
