Chapter 12 - Skype with Aidan

I've asked my mom if i could go to the mall with the girls and she said i could. I haven't asked her about meeting Austin though, i'd rather have time to ask her instead of trying to rush the conversation to get ready to go out.

I got out of the shower and blow dried my hair. I walked over to my closet and picked out a outfit. I changed into what i picked and went and straightened my hair. Once i finished my hair, i went and put on make-up and waited for the girls to arrive.

*Night time*

I had a good day shopping, didn't buy that much, just a couple tops and a pair of sandals. Sarah and Jackie are really nice people. I never really had friends that were girls, but i'm pretty sure i'll come good friends with them. I'm downstairs having dinner with mom, we're having pizza. 

Pamela: So how was your day?
Abigail: good, i enjoyed myself. How was your day mom?
Pamela: Good, work was busy but that's normal

There was an awkward silence, maybe this was the time i could ask about going to meet Austin.

Abigail: Mom?
Pamela: Yes sweetie
Abigail: You know how Austin's doing radio gig around america?
Pamela: where are you going with this Abi?
Abigail: Well he texted me this morning saying that he would be in Austin in 2 days, and he suggested that i go see him
Pamela: And how are you going to get there?
Abigail: Well, i was wondering if you would drive me?
Pamela: That's like nearly a 2 hour drive away though love
Abigail: Mom please, i've not seen him for 5 days now, and it would be a week in 2 days. I'll give you money for gas and everything, please mom
Pamela: No you don't have to do that. I'll take you
Abigail: Awh thank you mom!

I jumped out of my seat and ran around the table to hug her so tight she couldn't breathe. I think you could tell i was really happy.

After i finished my tea, i phoned my work to ask to get the day off and thankfully they said i could. I texted Austin the good news and went on my laptop. I signed into Skype and logged into twitter at the same time.  I tweeted about how excited i was.

"@JustSmile_Abi: Can't wait to see my boy in 2 days, missed him so much<3"

I then went onto Austin's profile to see what was happening. I noticed he just tweeted something 2 minutes ago.

"@AustinMahone: Pumped to see my angel in 2 days, i've missed her so much<3"

I retweeted it and favourited it. I went to Skype's page and noticed Aidan was online, so i decided to call him.

Aidan: Hey Abi!
Abigail: Hey Aidan, how was school?
Aidan: Boring like normal
Abigail: That's school for you though Aidan
Aidan: How was your day?
Abigail: Good thanks, went out shopping with a couple of Austin's friends
Aidan: Get anything nice
Abigail: Yeah, just a sec, i'll show you what i got

I went over to grab the stuff i brought that was still in the bags, and showed him them. 

Aidan: They're really nice
Abigail: that's why i brought them silly
Aidan: Haha very funny
Abigail: thank you

There was a sort of awkward silence for a moment then we got right back into the conversation again.

Aidan: So what are you doing the next few days then?
Abigail: Well i've got work tomorrow but the day after that i'm going to Austin to see Austin
Aidan: Oh yeah, he's away doing radio gigs right?
Abigail: Yeah, i've not seen him in 5 days
Aidan: I guessing your missing him?
Abigail: Yeah and i've been bored as
Aidan: Hey you've been speaking to me!
Abigail: And that's what has made my days!
Aidan: awh your so sweet

We spoke for awhile until he had to go do some homework that was due for tomorrow. I miss mine and Aidan's times together, i miss my best friend. I signed out of Skype and went back onto twitter.

"@JustSmile_Abi: I miss my best friend, it's hard here without you @namesaidan"

Wish i could just hop onto a plane and fly over to Dallas to get my best friend back. I know it's hard for him to fit into a new style of environment because he's so used to New York, plus i hope no one is bullying him as he's "a friend of Dorothy". Maybe he was lying that he didn't have a black eye yesterday, maybe he did and was covering it up so i wouldn't worry about, i'll just have to ask him the next time i call him....
