They all disembarked the ghost and walked the short distance to the stronghold. Now in the grand hall, they were greeted by the count and countess. "Hello, our Jedi friends. Ezra, how has the gathering gone? From the crowd assembled here now, I'd say it's been going well. Has it?" Alrich asked from his half of the throne while Ursa stared at Sabine. "Daughter, may we speak in the other room?" Ursa asked while rising from the thrown and walking to the private room that's connected to the hall.
As they both sat down in their seats at the table Ursa looked her over once more. "I see you'll be gifting your father and I with another grandchild in, I'd say seven months? Am I correct?" Sabine smiled and rubbed her not yet obviously big stomach. "Yeah, I still don't see how you always just see it. And before you ask, Ezra already knows." Ursa smiled at the confirmation. "I'm glad you and Ezra are happy together. I'm glad to see how often you two are trying to fulfill the last vow. But I must ask, why is he trying to rebuild the Jedi order?"
"I asked him the same thing at first. He explained it to me like this, the Jedi at there core are good. But along the way, they became misguided and full of themselves. But with the order being reformed and being housed here on krownest they'll become at heart, the same, but they'll now have the reformation they needed for the last twenty-four thousand years. They won't hesitate to finish the enemy, they won't wait for the problem to become unavoidable. Information won't be withheld. They will be apart of clan Wren, as a subsidiary."
"Sabine, you must know that the house Vizsla won't accept us breaking off and forming our own house. Especially so with Jedi. How do you two plan to get around that?"
"Simple, we are the clan Wren, the money of house Vizsla. Once we leave and take our fortune with us they'll be to broke to oppose us. And once they all see that we still fight for mandalor they'll all want to make friends with us. Then there's the ancient wright of testing one's metal against a Jedi. Name one Mandalorian who's not father that would pass that up?"
"You two have certainly thought this through. There's not a hole on our side. Alright, I'll speak to your father about this and see how he thinks we should proceed. Let's return to the hall."
As they reenter the hall they find something close to party on full swing. The children were running around playing with the kids from the stronghold. The teens were all mingling with each other, again teens from the stronghold have mixed in. Noticing four people off the side she sees its Emilia and Tristan getting friendly with each other. While the two oldest of the former slaves already seem to be together. Looking towards the throne she sees Ezra and her father talking animatedly with one another. "Did he call for a feast?" She hears Ursa ask herself as she walked back towards the throne.
As Ursa takes her seat Ezra says goodbye to Alrich and goes to join the rest of the impromptu party. Whipping around on his half of the throne Alrich grabs her hand. "Ursa, darling, splendid news! Ezra has just enquired to me about if he and Sabine will inherit the throne or if it will go to Tristan. He just told me he and Sabine are ready and willing to lead the clan whenever we're ready to step down as the standing leaders. Also, he has disclosed in me there plans for the future and I must say, the ambition is wild but if they pull it off we'll be the most powerful and influential clan in all of Mandalore!" He whisper shouted at her. She took his hand and nodded. "Are you ready now?" He squeezed her hand and they both rose from there throne.
Hitting the intercom button on the throne so all of the clan can hear him, he starts the announcement. "Brothers and sisters, hear me and listen! On this day I propose to step down as count along with my wife, your countess, Ursa Wren and allow our daughter Sabine Wren and her husband Ezra Wren to step up and take our place as the leaders of the clan Wren! Who hear opposes this decision!?" Alrich announced to the room. No one apposed the retirement of Ursa and Alrich. Or the ascension Ezra and Sabine.
"Then let it be heard! On this day I, count Alrich Wren and countess Ursa Wren, officially step down and place our daughter Sabine Wren and her husband Ezra Wren as the standing leaders of the clan Wren!" With the announcement made Ursa and Alrich stepped down from the throne and Sabine and Ezra took the seat.
Ezra took her hand then turned his head towards her. "Do we act now or wait it out?" He asked her. "Now would be better. Less likely to be apposed right now while the party's going and the house Vizsla doesn't know we're in charge yet." He nodded then squeezed her hand in his. "You or me?" She took a moment to think it over. "We'll do it together." As they rose the room grew silent. "Brothers and sisters of the clan Wren, hear me and listen!" Ezra said to the room while using the force to turn on the intercom so all the clan could here. Sabine took a deep breath then resumed the speech. "We have decided to leave the house Vizsla and form our own house! The first clan of the house will be the Je'daii clan! Made up of all Jedi present here today, excluding my husband, count Ezra Wren!" They let the news sink in then Ezra took a breath and addressed the room. "If any of you oppose the plan then speak now!" The room remained silent. "Who here agrees with the plan!?" The room erupted in uproarious applause. "Then tonight we celebrate the house Wren, clan Je'daii, and to our bright future!"
Note: je'daii is pronounced as G-day. Well, that's how I say it at least. Have a good day or night everyone.
