Shrek. A rather confused ogre, who doesn't know his place in this life or world. He questions himself on a daily basis, mostly thinking about his sexuality. Is he gay or straight? He doesn't even know. So, he
leaves Fiona, and sets out on a journey to discover his inner-self.
Dr. Phil. A very successful man, with his own T.V. show. Up until now. During a show, he is interviewing a woman, struggling with marital problems. While the interview is taking place on camera, a gunshot can be heard. He runs backstage, to find his wife dead. He chases after the killer, but the patting of donkey hooves fade out before he finds who it is. In his dressing room, the two meet and set out on a journey to discover themselves.
During this journey, Dr. Phil runs into Shrek. The two instantly know what to do, and fall in love. Join the two lovers on their life story about truly discovering ones inner self, and peeling the layers.
