ANIRUDH'S POV
"Sakthi?? What are doing here at this time???" I asked. "What are you doing here??? Neega thiruvizah ku pogala?? "( you didn't go to the thiruvizah??) She asked with a confused expression "No, I'm going. I was just waiting for my mom's call" I said. "Nanum thiruvizah ku dhan poren" (I'm also going to the thiruvizah) she said with a bright smile. "What?? But Grandma said girls should not go " I asked "Na porennu Patti ku therinjadhana" with that she started walking towards the wall and tried climbing it but the wall was too high. she struggled. I was just watching her. After several tries she turned towards me and asked " yennaku help pannalamla ?? ( Can't you help me?). "No I won't, If someone finds out than your dead so, stay at home " I said. "poga neega help pannalana paravala nane pathukuren" (if you don't want to help it's okay I will take care it on my own) when she said that she kinda looked mad and she again tried climbing the wall. 'So cute ' I thought. I climbed the wall and extended my right hand towards her. At first she looked confused than she understood that I was helping her. "You said you won't help ???" She said and gave her hand with a smile. I helped her to climb the wall and finally she came up and sat next to me on top of the wall. I jumped to the other side of the wall and looked up. I was not sure how to help her down. It would be weird and akward if I try to carry her. Before I could help her she jumped down and landed safely but pushed me to the ground. "OMG sorry " she said and then this time she extended her hand so that I can get up. I took her hand and stood up. She started walking. I was not sure if I should follow her or not. Suddenly she turned around and asked "Why are you Standing there??? Come". Well, I guess I'm going to follow her.
There were a lot of small shops on both side of the streets. Sakthi looked really excited. She almost stopped at every shop to take a look. "Hey anga paruga valayal kada!!" (Look there, it's a bangles shop) she said and suddenly held my hand and dragged me towards the bangle shop. She let go of my hand once we reached the shop. I was really surprised by the sudden skin ship but looks like she didn't even realize that she held my hand. She was really excited that she didn't even care about what is happening around.
She picked up a set of green glass bangles "Wow! They look really pretty " She said to herself. She wanted to try them but they were a bit small for her hands "Anna indha design la kojam periya size iruka" (Anna, do you have the same design in a bigger size) she asked the shop keeper. "Illa ma idhu dhan kadaisi size " the shop keeper told. Sakthi looked upset and she was about to keep the bangles back in its place when the shop keeper told that he'll try to insert the bangles in her hands. The shop keeper was desperate to sell the bangles that he harshly tried to insert it in Sakthi's hands. she lightly groaned in pain. Immediately I stopped the shop keeper. I took her hand and gently inserted the bangles in her hands one by one. The bangles looked even more prettier in her hands. She smiled at me and thanked. She was admiring her bangles I took that as a chance and paid for the bangles. After paying I told her "Va pollam" (come let's go) that's when she realized that I paid for her bangles "Neega yen pay panniga??? " (why did you pay??)she asked "I am a gentleman.I can't let a girl pay" I said and smiled at her "But-" She started to say something but I stopped her "The Bangles are a gift from me to you so, stop arguing " She smiled and nodded her head.
Then we went to play 'throw the ring' game where several objects were kept in front of us and 3 rings were given. we should throw the rings on the object to win it. Sakthi failed in her first and second chances. for the last chance I went and helped her. She was holding the ring and I held her hand. We threw the ring and it landed on a pink teddy bear. She raised her hand to give me a fi and we hi-fied. She looked very excited. The shop keeper gave the teddy bear to us. I took it from him. We again started to roam around. She walked ahead of me. I looked at her and the teddy bear in my hands. I don't know what it is but I really love the moment and I smiled to myself thinking about the time we spent now.
We planned on going back because already it's past 12:00. When we started walking back Sakthi suddenly stopped. "Adhu Annas dhana?? " ( isn't that my brothers???) She pointed towards a group of guys. Yes it was her brothers. Shreyas and Iyappan were also with them. She quickly dragged and hid behind a shop. "Na mattum avaga kannula mattuna sethen".(if I get caught, I'm dead)
