Chapter 09

ANIRUDH'S POV

I couldn't sleep last night because of the excitement. I'm so excited to spend time with her. The next morning,Iyappan was not there when I woke up. I couldn't find him. Maybe he must be in Sreyas room. I took a quick bath and got changed into a t-shirt and jeans. "Today I should somehow ask for Sakthi's number or give my number to her" I decided before leaving my room.

I climbed down the stairs and went out. Sakthi was standing there near a car. Now, my excitement all drained and I suddenly felt nervous. What am I going to do all day with her? What am I going to talk with her? What if I sound awkward when I try to start a conversation? What if she thinks that I'm boring? These types of questions kept coming to my mind as I walked towards her.

She was scrolling something on her phone and when she heard my footsteps she looked up and gave a cute smile. "Polama? " she asked. "Yeah sure " I replied. She went to climb on the passenger's seat. Think I am going to drive. I opened the door for the driver seat. "It's okay I'll drive you sit" a voice said and that voice belongs to Tharshan and he was already seated in the driver's seat. What he's coming with us!?! "Dei come and sit at the back seat with me da" said Iyappan coming out from the back side of the car. What he is also coming!?. I was really surprised and disappointed at the same time.
"I thought it was just the two of us " I said to Sakthi and got into the car avoiding any further conversation.

When I got Into the car i whispered to Iyappan "Dei what are you doing here da?". "Sakthi asked me to join you guys. She compeled me. Be happy that I'm joining you guys. If I was not here you would've become the third wheel" he said. He's right! I'm glad that he's here.
I think I made it so obvious that I want to spend time with her but she didn't get it.

SAKTHI'S POV:

I thought it would be boring if only the two of us are going. I don't even know how to start a conversation. It'll be really akward. That's why I asked Tharshan and Iyappan to join us. It will be more fun to go outing in a group but Anirudh sounded really disappointed when he said that he thought it was just the two of us. I don't know what is there to be disappointed maybe I should have asked his permission before I asked Tharshan and Iyappan to join.

I feel like I want to spend more time with Anirudh. He's fun to be around and also really friendly. When I talk to him I don't feel like talking to the Rockstar Anirudh. I just feel like talking to a normal guy.

We first headed to have our breakfast. We went to a small shop and ate dosa and idiyapam. Looked like Anirudh really liked it. When we finished our breakfast and was about to leave. I decided to sit with Anirudh in the car. So that I can find if he is really disappointed with me.

ANIRUDH'S POV:

Tharshan started the car and we were headed somewhere to have our breakfast. Maybe the place which Sakthi mentioned yesterday. Iyappan and myself were seated in the back seat while Sakthi and Tharshan sitting next to each other in the front seat and I really hated it. I wish this day ends fast. I am really tried. Only reason I decided to go out today was because of the thought of spending some alone time with Sakthi but it's totally ruined. I just wish to sleep right now and I'm also hungry.

We finally reached the place and had our breakfast and it tasted so good. Best breakfast I have ever had. After finishing our breakfast we all got inside the car and to my surprise Sakthi sat next to me in the back seat. This idiotic Iyappan was also about to sit with us in the back seat until I showed him different kinds of signals with my eyes. Finally he understood and sat at the front next to Tharshan.

Slowly I started a conversation with her. She started talking and didn't stop at all. She told me some funny incidents that took place in the past. I am really happy that she's sharing her memories with me. After talking to her all my tiredness suddenly vanished.

I should somehow ask for her number but I'm really nervous. 'Ok Anirudh be bold and ask her. this is your chance' I told myself. "Hmmm....Sakthi ye-" I started but before i can finish she asked "unga phone eh kuduga na en number ah save pannuren " (Give me your phone I'll save my number) I was really surprised for a moment but still I handed my phone to her. How can she give her number so easily. I was panicking here the whole time to give my number or ask for hers but anyways I got her number.

Finally the day got over. We reached home after visiting few places. When I reached my room I took my phone and looked at her number. Without realizing I started smiling like an idiot and that's when I realized my true and strong feelings towards her.
