SAKTHI'S POV

"You look really pretty today " Anirudh complimented me. I can't believe that he just called me pretty. I was freaking out inside but I didn't show it. I was not sure how to react. I am not really good at taking compliments. " Thank you, you look handsome too" I replied with a smile acting normal but inside I was actually in cloud nine.

Everyone gathered in front of the Gods idol and started praying. While I was praying someone closed my eyes from behind. "Yaarunu kandupudi" ( guess who?) They whispered in my ears.
it was a Male voice! I removed his hands and turned around. "Hi" Tharshan greeted me with the brightest smile.
I pulled him to a corner so that we won't disturb the others who were praying.
"Mama yeppadi iruka??" (Mama how are you?) I asked with suprise and excitement. Wow! It's been very long since I last saw him. Now he looks more matured. " I'm good, what about you? How is life going? ".

ANIRUDH'S POV

Anger boiled inside me just by seeing him flirting with Sakthi. Soon everyone started gather around him enquiring about his health,job and stuff's.
"Come ,I'll introduce you guys to him " Sreyas told and dragged me and Iyappan to where Tharshan was standing. " Tharsh, meet my friends. this is Iyappan and this is Anirudh" he Introduced us.
" Anirudh! Wow I'm so happy to meet you. I really love all of your songs and Hi Iyappan, glad to meet you too " he said happily with a sweet smile.
Okay, now I didn't expect this. I have seen a lot of movies. Characters like him will usually be a jerk but this guys is sweet as well as handsome and he is also my opponent.

we just talked about some general stuffs. then, Sreyas and Tharshan started to discuss about some family stuffs so Iyappan and myself gave them some privacy and left the place.
" he is very friendly da but you don't worry. Your Anirudh! . The dream boy for all the girls. I'm sure Sakthi will fall for you" Iyappan told while patting my shoulders. "Ada po da nee vera usupethikittu ".
"No da believe in yourself. If you want go and ask Sakthi to show you around the village.
I'm sure she'll agree without any second thought".
"Even I know she'll agree to show me around the village. She is really sweet and friendly da. She'll surely agree ". I said
"Man, why are you always thinking negatively. Think in a positive way. Go and ask her to show you around the village. You can also spend time with her, right?"
He's right I can spend some alone time with her.

Sakthi was lighting a lamp near the thulasi. "Hey Sakthi" I called her. She lifted her head and looked at me. "Hmmm...if your free tomorrow can you show me around the village?? Actually I'm looking for some inspiration to compose a song related to village subject for a movie. I asked Sreyas but he said he's busy tomorrow so can you help me?" I finished what I wanted to say in one go and took a deep breath. "Sure" she finished with a simple reply and a small smile. " get ready by tomorrow 8:00 AM. We'll eat outside. I'll take you to the best kaiyendhi bavan" she said with excitement. Kaiyendhi bavan ah??? Seri yedho onnu po.

While returning back. Iyappan, Sreyas and myself took a different car because Tharshan and his family occupied the car we came. I wanted to travel with Sakthi. unfortunately I couldn't but it's okay, tomorrow I'm gonna spend the whole day with her and I'm super excited about it.
