ANIRUDH'S POV

When I went inside I saw Sakthi watching some TV serial. She was seated next to Tharshan and they were seriously discussing about the dubbed hindi serial. Really! He even watch serials? They were sitting really close to each other and talking. It irritates me, Seeing him so close to her.
He really knows how to impress girls. Looks like I have to start watching serials too but right now I have to some how separate him and Sakthi.
I saw Sreyas walking towards the stairs.
I Immediately went towards him. "Hey Sreyas, look at your cousin flirting with my girl " I told him in a irritated tone. "Your girl? When did she become 'your girl'?? You didn't even propose to her" he said with smirk. "Adhalam vidu. Now, go and tell your cousin to behave well and move away from Sakthi " I order him. "Why should I do that ?" "Dei please da. I want to spend some alone time with Sakthi but Tharshan is always around her. Help pannu da". I asked showing my puppy eyes.
" seri,seri kenchadha" ( ok,ok stop begging) Sreyas turned towards Tharshan and called him to help with some work. Finally Tharshan got up from his seat. I Immediately thanked Sreyas for his help and ran towards the spot were Tharshan sat. I sat next to Sakthi and tried to start a conversation but she didn't even take her eyes from the T.V. I looked at the other side were Aishu was sitting. I leaned towards her and asked "When will this serial end??" I asked her. "It's a one week re-telecast. It will end in 2 hours" she replied. What two hours!!??? Sutham po. I had no choice but to wait till this serial gets over. So, I started watching it too. Honestly this serial is good. Now, I know why ladies watch serials.

Half way through the serial Aishu got up and went somewhere. Ha! Finally some alone time but no use when she's so into this serial.

After few minutes Aishu and Iyappan came down the stairs and gestured me to come upstairs. What's wrong with these two?? Suddenly I got a message on my phone. It was from Aishu.
'Come upstairs to Sreyas room Immediately ' it said. I got up and went upstairs
When I went inside Aishu grabbed my shoulders and asked me " is it true??? You like Sakthi???" Great? now she knows too. I glared at Sreyas and Iyappan. "Tell.....do you like her??" Aishu asked once again. I nodded slowly. "OH MY GOD!!!!....I'm really happy for you...you two will make a great pair....!!!"
"Thank you so much Aishu. Your the only one who is actually supporting me" I said with a smile. "Did you confesse your feelings to her?" She asked. "Not yet. She is always surrounded by people so I didn't get the chance" I said. "Avolodhana. I will make her come to the terrace alone at 9:00 PM. Okay?" "Really!!?? Thank you so much Aishu" I said with a big smile ".

TIME SKIPS:

It's 9:10 and I've been waiting here from 8:30. I'm excited and nervous at the same time. I have been keep on practicing my proposal lines in my mind for the past half an hour and I've also watched a lot of proposal scenes from movies on YouTube.

I heard someone opening the terrace door. I turned around to see Sakthi standing there. "Hey,Anirudh!" She greeted me looking suprised. "Did you see Aishu? She asked me to come to the terrace alone but looks like she is not her" she said while scanning the whole terrace. "I asked Aishu to make you come to the terrace " I said. " what? Why?". "I wanted to tell you something " I started. "Hmm Sakthi....I....hmmm" "yenna Anirudh??solluga" (what Anirudh? Tell). I took a deep breath. You can do it Anirudh. Just tell her. "Sakthi I really like you " I finally said it. She just smiled and said "Aww..! Anirudh that's so cute. I like you-". "No Sakthi " I interrupted her "like you means not like a friend. I like you like- more than a friend. I like you in a romantic way". I don't want to freak her out by saying I love her because she's not into these relationship things and we have known each other only for a short while so it can make her uncomfortable. "I really like you" I said it once more. She looked really Shocked. "Anirudh...I....I don't know what to say....I didn't except this " she said without making eye contact. "I know you'll be surprised by my sudden confession but you don't need to answer me now. Take your own time to think. I'll wait. Until then let's stay as friends like we were before. Nothing changes between us because of this confession ok?" I said. "No Anirudh I-" "Wait Sakthi please don't say anything now. Even if your going to reject me don't do it now. I just want to enjoy this moment" I said. She didn't say anything but nodded her head. There was a minute of silence. Both of us didn't say anything. Sakthi was just staring at the ground. "Anirudh!! Un amma call pannuraga. Sikaram va" (Anirudh your getting a call from your mom come fast) Sreyas called me from downstairs. I looked at Sakthi and said "I have to go". she lifted her head and looked at too. "Hmmm..ok" "ok bye" "bye". Taking a last glance at her face I left the terrace.
